Minutes later, Soren and Yae had reexplained what the Henyo had said to him, of her presence in Laguna being due to a mission-of-sorts from her nation’s Grand Dragon, and her own awfully specific search for someone not unlike Soren.

With the explanation done, the Alf was seated at the now cleared table, tapping the fingers of her right hand along the tabletop as she mulled the information over. Angling her head to the side, Syr looked to Yae.

“You do understand how for most people just blurting those kinds of things out isn’t exactly seen as… usual?” Syr’s ears dropped when Yae tilted her head in an oh-so innocently curious manner. “Okay… I’m not awfully familiar with Yamatan culture, and the little I know is that your people place a lot of value on spiritualism and those spirits have to say and do, right?”

“Of course,” Yae nodded. “It’s through the guidance of the Kami that Yamato charts it’s course.”
