Chapter 22.2

Soren was used to the kind of dense activity you'd get out of central Guild buildings. He'd been to the central HQ back in Clearharbor enough times since his career began to know what that kind of hustle looked like. But the tone of the El'Zyan HQ was somehow all kinds of different.

From the moment the party strode into the main hall, the activity was anything but the energetic tones of a Lagunan guild. These folk were all business, tucked away in groups talking anything from business ventures to hunts, sure not to get in each other's way as many more moved through to other parts of the building.

And adding to it, orbs of colored light were flitting back and forth, some to the people on the floor, or leaving a conversation to head elsewhere in the tower.

Focused, clear, and efficient.

“Wow, and I thought Seekers were uptight,” Soren huffed, folding his arms. “Then again no clue if the Rubicon branch structures things the way we do in Laguna.”
