“Pretty direct in this place, huh?” Soren took a seat first, removing his weapons and leaning them against the chair he took, Syr and yae following suit. “I’m guessing we don’t exactly need to introduce ourselves to you, huh?”

“Soren Ragnvaldr, Syr Flelydis, and your newest party member, Yae,” No surprise for any of them. “I’m Zain Asghar, the head officer who’ll be in charge of the investigation in a few days. It was Hunters under our jurisdiction who found the ruins you and the other Freelancers we’ve hired will be diving into.”

“Has to be pretty deep in, Zenith is the most well mapped Frontier in the world,” said Soren, Zain nodding.

“Indeed,” Zain glanced to Yae, who’s ears were fluttering but her face clearly not keeping up. “Should I explain in more depth for your friend here? She seems a bit lost.”

“Oh, I know the basics of Frontiers, I’ve studies on them,” said Yae. “I’m sorry if I gave the wrong impression.”
