Moments ago...
"So, in the end, I was defeated... It's ironic," murmured the creator, sitting and completely wounded. His blood was dripping down his face and into the shadows of darkness, creating a satisfying sound that seemed to light up the world. "Why?" asked the darkness, confused. "You knew you couldn't defeat me alone, so why did you try?" The battle was over, but instead of celebrations, only farewells remained. The creator looked at her and smiled as he said, "To forget the mistakes of the past and deal with the problems of the future. That's what you believe in, right? So why this melancholic tone? I've been alive for a long time and I'm grateful. No regrets."
She gave a sad smile as she prepared to deliver the final blow and said, "No regrets." Suddenly, the shadows began to engulf the creator. He didn't resist, as there was nothing left to fight for. Everything was now in Lucifer's hands...

Lucifer looked at a blue light that formed around him, protecting him from Charles' deadly attack. At that moment, he knew what had happened. "So, you died, father?" thought Lucifer. He wasn't surprised, happy or sad. Lucifer had no reaction to express his feelings, so he focused on the current problem: surviving.
Suddenly, Lucifer felt an abnormal gain of power within him, accompanied by a new perception of the world being born. "With this power, I will be able to..." Before he could finish his sentence, Charles appeared smiling in front of him and said, "Hi." At the same time, Charles punched with all his strength and energy concentrated in his right arm. Lucifer couldn't recover in time from the shock and ended up being hit directly in the face.
He was violently pushed to the bottom of the sea, while Charles followed him and parted the water around them to have a clear view of Lucifer. The impact of Lucifer against the seabed triggered several earthquakes around the world, but Charles didn't stop there. He appeared mercilessly in front of Lucifer and began to punch him while channeling all his energy into his arms, which belonged to the most powerful entity when it came to physical attributes.
Lucifer tried to resist Charles' strength, but it was useless. His body began to twist and be crushed by the pressure, while he desperately tried to free himself. Charles, on the other hand, maintained his concentration and energy focused on his arms, increasing the pressure even more.
The sea around them began to bubble and foam rose in waves, while the impact of the battle shook the ocean floor. Lucifer began to struggle even harder, but Charles didn't give in. He continued to channel his energy, crushing Lucifer even more.
Finally, with a deafening roar, Lucifer was completely crushed. His body disappeared in an explosion of white light, leaving only a trail of smoke in the air. Charles, satisfied, released his energy and allowed the sea to return to its normal state.

"Phew, thank goodness I managed to kill him before he received all the power," sighed Charles, relieved as he returned to the surface. "As far as I remember, when the seals are broken, the user doesn't receive all the power immediately. It takes a few minutes for the power to be fully absorbed by the body, maybe so that the body has time to adapt to the new energy load. Otherwise, the body would probably explode."
A good example is when someone stops exercising, whether for an extended period or just a few weeks, the body begins to lose muscle mass and strength. This happens because the stimulus to the muscles is reduced, and they begin to lose their tone. When the person returns to exercise, the body needs time to readjust and regain the strength and endurance it had before. The readjustment process includes rebuilding the lost muscle mass.
"With Lucifer dead, the only person capable of facing me is..." Before Charles could finish his thought, he heard a female voice behind him saying, "Lucifer is dead, so... Well, never mind, now it's just the two of us."

Note from the author:
Sorry for the delay, I broke my toe ): But I'm fine, it's not the first time I've broken a body part.
The reason there wasn't a dramatic death for Lucifer was that Charles had the power to decide whether Lucifer would live or die. An example, although it's entirely different, is when John Wick goes to kill his final enemies. There's no talking or anything like that.
The chapter was short because I wanted to end this part and start the new one. I'll let you theorize about what will happen from now on.
