Tea Talk

"Sorry for making you wait, student Ryan."

After saying that she put the tea on the table. Next she poured tea into two cups.

She looked so graceful at this moment.

Looks like pleasant tea will not be a rare commodity in the future.

She passed one cup towards me. I held the cup and brought it towards my mouth. First a fantastic aroma drilled into my nostrils.

I then proceeded to take a sip, all the while seeing the anticipating face of Emily.

*Fwoosh*

I spat out the tea from my mouth.

"What happened student Ryan?" she asked worriedly.

What happened. You fucking ask what happened.

My first time drinking tea made by a beautiful woman was ruined.

I reigned the profanities that were going to come out of my mouth.

I then coughed a little to gain my composure and told her, "You used salt instead of sugar"

Upon hearing this she blushed.

I can't believe it.

How could she make such a silly mistake.

But this may be an advantage.

She could be an easier target than I thought her to be.

"I am so sorry" She bowed towards me.

With her bowing a little bit of whiteness was revealed at her neck.

Oh god!

This much is also unbearable for me!

I forgive you! Just get up or I can't control myself.

"No worries Miss Emily" I said reassuredly.

She then asked about my transfer and school related questions.

I answered each of them. I tried to portray myself as a weak student. Gives me more reasons for meeting her.

I told her that I joined today only.

After a little while she asked in a serious note, "How did you got these injuries?"

This is troublesome. I can't tell her about those bunch of school kids. If she took any action and those students knew they would trouble me again.

I then thought of a great idea.

"I was on my way to buy some dinner for me after leaving school but I got interrupted in the middle by some thugs. They stole my money and beat me unconscious. I was lucky that someone sent me to the infirmary." I said in a frightened tone.

Let's gain more sympathy I thought evilly.

" What!! Are you okay student Ryan? You aren't too injured, are you?"

"Now I am alright ma'am. There is no problem."

Seeing that I was speaking the truth she sighed in relief. Then something clicked in her mind.

"You didn't buy your dinner right. You could eat dinner with me today." She offered.

Plan successful.

I smiled in my mind.

Still I put up an act.

"Is this really alright ma'am?" I asked anxiously.

"It's fine. I will let you taste my heavenly cooking" she said confidently.

I gulped.

God! Please let her cooking be good.

I prayed desperately and then took my leave.

Reaching my apartment I immediately took my blazer off and sat on the sofa.

Suddenly my reflection in the glass table started moving.

"You didn't use the ability."

He commented curiously.

I then looked towards him in a weary gaze.

"I tried twice."

"Oh, that explains why you feel lethargic."

I looked towards him with a dark face.

"You knew about this."

"Of course." He said proudly.

"Then why didn't you tell me!"

" I forgot!"

I cursed at him. If possible I really wanted to strangle him to death.

Perhaps sensing my intent. He spoke in an apologetic tone.

"Okay! Let me brief you about this. You can't just infinitely try thought inducement. If it was possible you might just keep hitting blindly until you find the best possible one to use."

"It depends on your level. Your level corresponds to your mental strength and soul.

At level one you could try three times. After that you won't be able to do it.

If you did try you still won't be able to execute it, you will just exhaust your mental strength and fall unconscious."

'So I could only try three times'

I then asked another question that bugged me.

"I felt less resistance when I tried the second time."

"There are many factors that could play a role in this case.

First you repeated the same command. So it is easy to do a task a second time.

Second the woman may have resisted that command but still it had somewhat of an effect. Like repeatedly hitting at the same place could break things.

Third, her resistance towards that thought may have been reduced. Like that thought became a second level thought instead of third."

"Wait! So the level could change like this." I asked in a surprised tone. This was a breakthrough.

Maybe something that would change all my plans.
