I’m in the Wrong, but I Don’t Care

It was already noon when Su Ying woke up. She sat up and lifted the curtain to look outside the carriage. The children were still excitedly following Jiang Yang and the other people around to herd the oxen and goats. They had been having fun the whole morning.

"Ji, aren't you guys tired?"

The older toddler Ji wiped the sweat off his face and said with a laugh, "Mother, we're not tired."

During this period, the kids had sufficient food and drinks and also slept well. Thus, their energy levels were much higher than in the past and they gradually recovered their childlike behaviors. Early in the morning, they ran around the oxen and goats and laughed and played for the whole day.

Su Ying didn't stop them. She felt that children looked more lively and energetic when they ran and jumped.

She took a water bag, jumped off the carriage, and went up to wipe the children's sweat. "Go into the carriage in a while. The overhead sun is too hot."
