She Was a Monster

Su Ying's gaze swept across the faces of the diners in the hall. Without exception, they were all gobbling down the meat in their bowls.

Very quickly, the waiter brought her a large bowl of meat. The fragrant braised meat was still steaming in the bowl.

"Miss, please enjoy your meal." The waiter looked at her, the corners of his mouth almost reaching her ears.

Su Ying picked up a pair of chopsticks and poked at the meat in her bowl, but she didn't touch it.

When the waiter saw this, his smiling eyes flickered with a glint of slyness. "What's wrong, Miss? Do you not like it? Why aren't you picking up your chopsticks to try it?"

Su Ying threw her chopsticks on the table and took out another one from the bamboo holder. She slowly bundled her long hair into a bun and held it in place with a chopstick. She then gave an icy laugh. "I don't eat human flesh."
