This Is What You Deserve

When James was finding it difficult to speak, Alex brought out his phone and said,

"I have the records of your conversation with Loveth right from the start."

Both Loveth and James looked at themselves, and thought it was a trick. Alex pressed the play button and put the phone on speaker and the beginning of what he recorded started playing.

"Hello ma…See what you have caused. What are we going to do? Elisa is still sleeping. How long will she stay awake? When are you coming back from the airport?...."

It was very obvious that all their secrets were now exposed.

"James, I want you to tell me everything. How did it started?"

There was instant fear in his eyes and as he was about to speak, there was a knock on the door. James wanted to go and open the door, but Alex said,

"Don't worry. Those are my special guests. They will come in when I want them."

"Please Sir, forgive me. It was the handiwork of your fiance. Some days ago, she told me to make sure that Elisa leaves this house. She was the one who sent me to come and meet you the other day, to lie to you that I wanted to date Elisa. We are not dating Sir. She even gave me some money and promised to give me more if I succeed in having sex with Elisa and then record everything."

Loveth stoned her face in guilt. There was no way for her to deny it. Elisa widened her eyes at James' confession and Alex said,

"James, go on. How did Elisa get drunk and where did you see her?"

"Sir please, I did it." There was sorrow in his tone, and his eyes begged for mercy.

"I drugged her. She never knew anything about it. We were planning to send you the sex video." He added and Elisa touched her chest as each statement had an effect on her.

"Please my darling," Loveth started crying at once. "I was jealous. What do you expect from a woman who loves you? I did all of these because of jealousy. Please, I could not watch you expressing affection for the maid," she knelt down and tried to hold Alex's hand.

"Move back," Alex shouted and stood up.

"James," he pointed at him. "You have the guts to blackmail an innocent lady. You even came to me, asking me for my approval to date Elisa. Why didn't you tell me when Loveth first brought the idea to you?" He waited, but James kept quiet.

"What kind of money were you looking for that you could not tell me to give you? All I have to say is that you are wicked. The three of you are wicked. Henry had lowered his face, but when he heard that he was included, he raised his face and said.

"Sir please, it was James who involved me. Please, I was on my own."

"Mr. Electrician," Alex smiled. "See what bad decision and bad company has landed you. You came to sleep with Elisa despite the circumstances around it."

Elisa turned her face and she wondered. Each statement was shocking to her and she could only express herself with the movement of her eyes and hands, then she asked.

"He wants to sleep with me? How?" She stirred at Alex. Alex took a step closer to her and said,

"It was James who wanted to sleep with you, after drugging you. But when I came, I sent him an errand, then he called this very one to take his place. They never knew I had a recorder in my car and I heard of their calls and how they had planned to label you a worthless person."

"What?" Elisa raised her voice and covered her mouth with her two hands.

"Don't worry. I will take care of the situation.

"Please Sir, I was not part of this from the beginning. It was a mistake. Please." Henry pleaded.

Alex pointed at Loveth and James.

"I don't want to see both of you in this house again. Both of you are evil."

"No, no. You can't do this to me Alex. Where will I go?" Loveth started crying again.

"Please Elisa, help me to beg my boss. I will not do it again," James begged Elisa from a distance.

"It's time to invite my special guests." Alex walked to the door and opened it. There were six policemen waiting at the door. They came in and handcuffed the three of them.

"I still love you Alex," Loveth cried out as one of the policemen gently took her out of the house.

"I don't want to see you again. This is what you deserve." He followed them to the door and closed the door and came back to Elisa. Elisa covered her face with her hands and bent her face to the ground. Alex walked closer and saw that she was crying.

"Why are you crying? Those who wanted your downfall had been arrested. He held her face up.

"Please stop crying. Why are you crying in the first place?" He asked.

"What if they had succeeded? I never knew James had such a dubious plan. I was so free with him and I trusted him."

Alex cleaned her tears and said,

"They almost divided us."

"Us?" Elisa stood up. "You need to make up with your fiance, she did all of this because of jealousy." She stood up and went to her room. Alex watched her and sighed, then he followed her from a distance. Before he got to Elisa's room, she had locked her room's door.

"Please open," he knocked.

"No. You need to make up with your fiance. I am the one to leave this house. I met her here." She said, but Alex continuously knocked on the door.

"Please open the door. We need to talk. Please." Alex waited and the whole place was quiet. When Alex saw that she was not willing to open the door, he knocked again and said,

"I saved you from humiliation. Is this how you want to pay me back? I preserve your dignity even in your absence. Open the door, we need to talk." He waited.

Some seconds later, Alex heard the opening of the door and Elisa quickly went and sat on her bed. Alex pushed the door and entered.

"Why are you doing this to me? I love you so much and I care about you."

"I know," she stood up as soon as Alex sat close to her.

"I didn't come here to break your relationship with Loveth. I came here as a maid. I am a woman, and I can tell you how your fiance is feeling right now. I need to leave this house so that you and your fiance can come back. I feel I am the one responsible for what happened. If I weren't here, it wouldn't have happened in the first place."

Alex stood up and walked to her and was looking at her eyes.

"You never seemed to amaze me. Every step you take makes me want to love you more. You have a pure heart and I am ready to protect you and love you. From the first day I saw you, my glass cup fell from my hand. Your beauty freezed me."

Elisa could not help it, but smiled.

"I thought it was a mistake."

"It was never a mistake. I want you. I want to know more about you. You are precious to my eyes."

"I don't want to date anybody for now. My heart has suffered numerous pain from emotional issues. Whenever I reflect on my life, I lose my truth to anyone. A relationship needs trust. How can I do that when I have seen the harsh side of love? Every man has a little demon that torments a woman." Elisa was reducing her voice as she was speaking and before Alex's eyes, tears dripped down from her face.

"Please don't cry." He moved his body closer and wanted to clear her tears.

"I will be there for you whatever the condition," he added and his voice was also emotional.

"So tell me Alex, what has your little demon done to a lady? Infact, What is the harshest or brutal thing you have done to a lady? Please, don't lie to me, it will help me to understand you." She raised her eyes towards Alex to hear what he would say.
