Addy went to answer her mother's call when she saw her father
"Mum you called? "
"Yes Rani, set the table we are having dinner together"
Addy set the dining table and the cutleries for three people
"Rani what are you doing set it properly"
"I don't understand mum, this is how I always set the table everyday. What's different about today? "
"Your father is going to join us for dinner"

After setting the table and the dishes they all began eating but the atmosphere was not one of a family

"Addy" Her mother said
"Don't worry mum, I just want to have a word or two with your husband"

Cough cough, Tom choked on his food
"Here have some water" Daksha offered and gave Addy a look that screamed 'shut up'
"Gently Tom, we don't want you dying now without writing your will"
"Why did you ask, do you have plans of killing me" Tom said after taking water

"My properties goes to my next of kin if ever something happens to me but I know I still have a long life to live unless you plan to kill me"

"Well since your Daksha mum couldn't give me a male child, I guess my next of kin would be my son inlaw Derek" Tom said with a smirk
"I guess you aren't educated enough to know that the gender of a child all depends on the father's potency not a mother, so don't blame my mother"
"She still couldn't give me a son, it's all her fault"
"Do you really think its her fault, tell me what happened to Reese huh, didn't you also get married to her just to have a male child. Because of the stupid rule of your stupid pureblooded family you had to marry your youngest cousin. Tell me where she is now"

"Wow okay" Tom said and left the house while Addy continued eating her food without a care in the world.
