ADDY'S POV

Right, so how about a little briefing of myself and my 'family'. The story of how I came into this world.

Let's start with my maternal

As we all know I am partially from an Indian descent through my maternals.

My mother named Dakshayani Singh is the first child of my grandmother and supposedly the next ruler after grandma Preet. The first female child of a first female is always made the successor of the throne. My grandmother was a great warrior, and a great leader, she fought so many wars for her subjects and came back victoriously, she was a great mother also. One who wants the best for her children, she lost her husband in a battle when she was pregnant with my mother and aunt

Yes!, my mother is actually twin, Dakshayani and Dakshinya

While my mother was a petite brunette, not so petite though with full cheeks, plump lips, doe eyes and thick black, long hair, my aunt Dakshinya was the exact opposite of my mother.

My mother was meant to be the next ruler after grandma and it was all going smoothly. The preparations for her enthronement was ongoing until it happened. Dakshayani met Thomas, he had come to India for work purpose and had come directly to the palace where he met mum. Attractive as she was to everyone, they both fell in love or was it mum who fell in love with him. When I think about it now, I guess he never really loved her, he just wanted her because he knew that she would be the next ruler and then he had an affair with her, an intimate affair before marriage. My mother got pregnant with me and instead of choosing the throne she chose Thomas, she could've ruled in India but she decided to be with the 'love of her life', said she didn't want the responsibility of a kingdom resting on her shoulders. My mum gave birth to me in India, and Thomas? He never treated her like he used to do after he was forced to marry her in India, he was enraged because she didn't take up the throne and that is where his hatred and misbehaviour toward mum stemmed from coupled with the fact that he didn't have a male child. He took mum away from India when I was 4 years old because she was pregnant, and came back to take me away from my grandmother when I was 11 years old.

I spent 11 years in India with my grandmother and relatives and it was the best out of my 22 years on earth.

And now to my paternal side

My father Thomas was the son of the famous Lord Donovan Grey, the son of Lord Damien Grey. He was the second child, younger to Late Uncle Darius who died in a plane crash. The pureblooded family as they called themselves was as a result of a stupid tradition brought about by my great grandfather or was it great great great grandfather, I don't know. He forcefully married his sister and taught their son to do so, and their grandsons to marry their cousins and nieces, that was the shitty tradition of the pureblooded family. My father was the child of my grandfather's sister and second wife.

But Thomas married out of the family system and out of the country which made him feel great and fulfilled. And when he couldn't have a male child, his family blamed it on the fact that he decided to disobey the traditions of his forefathers because he married my mother. They made him marry his youngest cousin Reese. He used to take Reese to school and pick her up after school was over and he was still made to marry her. That was how sick the pureblooded family was and I feel sick to be part of the family but yet again I was considered to be half caste by them or was it outcast, while my father was a platinum blonde, Meera and Manu were dirty blonde, I was the only brunette child, I was not blonde like my siblings and paternal cousins and so I wasn't really considered to be pureblooded.

Well here I am, the not so pureblooded daughter stuffing my face with cereals wondering what to wear for my date today.

Yes I have a date with Derek tonight just to get to know ourselves more, the engagement ceremony had already been done,he's not that bad though. We've been hanging out for couple of days now and he seems nice.

'Really because he got you dark chocolates and cotton candy' my subconscious chipped in. Well it's not my fault though, mum doesn't want me to take any of those things so he sneaks it in for me. So lovely!

Reminds me of how he fell into a bush and got splinters all over when he tried to jump out my window after sneaking cookies and coffee into my room. It was indeed a glorious sight to behold, I couldn't hold my laughter in and I turned red after laughing my heart out.

Now what to wear, what to wear?
