Chapter 108 Unworthy

Inside the dining room, everyone remained quiet. There were no more pleading and crying sounds, and Saja, who was sitting on the floor, was also silent because he knew that what Zoya wanted was revenge.  He also knew that Zoya strictly abided by the rules set for Untouchable, and she wanted to use Lixin's hand to end his life. He also knew that although he himself is an Untouchable, he did not have the same abilities as other Untouchables, so if Lixin kill him, today would be his last day. He was thinking deep inside, trying to find a way to avoid death.

Lixin looked at Zoya and said, "How do I know you didn't lie to me?"

Zoya replied, "You don't... but you are welcome to gamble."

Lixin pulled out the knife and threw it at Zoya's feet. "How about I ask my men to hold him down, and then you kill him?" He said, looking at Zoya. "I didn't want my hands to be stained with blood because I was going to have dinner."

Zoya looked down at the knife and then at Lixin. She said, "If you don't want to do business with me, forget it." Zoya turned to leave, but Ping, Hui and Shi quickly blocked Zoya. Zoya looked back at Lixin. "You don't want to do business with me, why are you blocking my way?"

Lixin said, "Give me the news of the five Tanzanies and I will let you go."

Zoya smiled and said, "I am threatened by people more powerful than you, and their threats have no effect on me. Like I said, if you want to know where they are going, I want to see if Saja has a heart inside his chest."

Looking at Zoya, Lixin had never seen such an expression on a young woman's face before. Although Zoya is not as pretty as other women he had met, her indifferent attitude and fearlessness attracted Lixin's attention. In his past, all the women he had met or dated would have been willing to agree to his request, but Zoya standing in front of him showed that she was not afraid of taking an interest in Lixin. When Kexin rushed into the dining hall, Lixin was still thinking about what he was going to do with Zoya.

Kexin stood a few steps away from Zoya. She looked at Zoya up and down, then walked towards Lixin. "Who is she?" she asked, standing next to Lixin, then turned to look at Zoya.

Lixin said, "She said she knew where the five Tanzanies had gone."

Kexin looked at Zoya and said, "If you know where they went, please tell us. As long as I can give it to you, I will give you anything."

Zoya looked at Kexin and then at Lixin with a smile. "So, you haven't told her yet," she said, looking at Lixin. "What's the point of dragging her along and hiding your true intentions? Sooner or later, she will know your purpose of hunting down the five men from Tangzang, so why bother dragging her along to pretend to hunt for an unknown white deer?"

Kexin asked, "True intention... what true intention?" She looked at Zoya and then at Lixin. "Brother, what is she talking about?"

Lixin said, "You promised that if I take you with me, you won't ask any questions."

Kexin said, "I agreed, but..."

Saya finally thought of a way; he quickly crawled forward and said, "My lord...my lord...please spare my life, and I will tell you everything about this witch."

Lixin said, "I will spare your life temporarily. If you can provide me with satisfactory information, I will spare your life."

Zoya looked at Lixin coldly and said, "Would you rather believe this traitor than me?"

Lixin said, "Well, it depends on how much benefit I can get and who has better information." He looked at Saja. "Tell me everything you know about this woman."

Sarja crawled closer to Lixin and said, "My lord, you have no idea what this woman is capable of...she...she is an Untouchable, her name is Zoya...she may look innocent, but she is not. Your men died in the forest.  She was the one who had killed them."

Kexin looked at Zoya madly. She gritted her teeth and asked, "Is this true? Did you kill all my men?"

Zoya said, "When they decide to enter territory that is not theirs, they accept the risk. They should not have entered the forest in the first place. In short, if you refuse to meet my demands, then don't waste my time."

Lixin turned to look at Saja and said, "Stand up when you speak and tell me what her abilities are."

Saja stood up and said, "She can predict the future and is better than the white-haired man you are looking for. Your Lord can be her master and let her work for you, but if you want to completely control her and her be your slave, she must sign a blood contract with you."

Lixin approached Saja and Zoya who were standing a few steps away. He looked at Zoya and smiled proudly.  "Mmm..." He quickly pulled out the dagger from the sheath and stabbed Saja in the chest.

Saja stumbled back, pointing at Lixin. "You..." He fell to the ground, twitching on the floor.

Lixin looked at Jin and said, "Tear out his heart and show it to Lady Zoya."

Jin bent down and pulled out the dagger, then stabbed Saja in the upper left chest again, causing Saja to scream in pain. While Saja was still alive, Jin slid the dagger down toward Saja's abdomen, whereupon he pulled the skin aside and cut out Saja's heart.

Jin holds Saja's heart in his hand, blood dripping on the floor, and walks to Lixin and Zoya. He said, "Lord Lixin, here is the heart of Saja."

Lixin said, "The heart is here, tell me where the Tanzanies are going next."

Zoya said, "Misnix Kingdom." Zoya turned to leave, but Lixin's men once again refused to let her pass the entrance. She turned around and looked at Lixin. "Our deal is done, please get out of the way."

Lixin said, "Just surrender to me and work for me, you will get more benefits than you want."

Zoya looked at Lixin and said calmly, "I refuse."

Lixin was very angry when he heard Zoya's rejection. He walked forward quickly, keeping an arm's distance from Zoya. "There were thousands of people lining up just to be subordinates."

Zoya said, "Then Your Lord has a thousand options to choose from."

Lixin asked, "Why don't you want to serve under me?"

Zoya said, "This slave is not worthy of serving you." She looked directly at Lixin. "And you are not worthy of being this slave master." She rolled her eyes at Saja, and then rolled her eyes at Lixin. "If you don't want your soldiers to bleed, don't block my way." She started to walk out the door.

Lixin shouted, "Then who is worthy of being your master?"

Zoya did not look back at Lixin and continued to walk towards the door. "The only person worthy of my worship as my master was the Northern King, King Haneul of Tangzang Kingdom," she said, and she continued to walk out of the dining hall.

Lixin stood at the door of the dining hall and watched Zoya disappear into the night. He was at a loss, knowing that, based on his credibility, someone refused to serve under him. "The Northern King, King Haneul," Lixin whispered in disappointment.

Kexin slowly approached Lixin, knowing that Lixin was just rejected by an unknown woman, and she did not want to add more harm to his feelings. She whispered, "Brother, do we really want to go home?"

Lixin smiled and said, "Don't you want to go home? Who would have thought that the person we are looking for actually ran to our door." Lixin turned to Kexin. "Are you afraid that father will punish you form running away from home?"

Kexin said, "I'm not afraid, but you know what will happen when you get home."

Lixin said, "I know."

Kexin sighed with a heavy heart and said, "Returning home means you have to meet Yue. She is seventeen years old this year. Meeting her means that father and mother will talk about marriage."

Lixin said, "I can't avoid getting married. It makes no difference to me to see her now or at the wedding. No matter what happens next, I will marry her according to father's wishes."

Kexin held onto Lixin's left arm and said, "I know you are doing this for our family, but how can you spend the rest of your life with someone like her?  Especially someone you don't love."

Lixin sighed and said, "As long as it benefits our family, I don't mind."

Kexin said, "How can you marry her? You have never met her. Although she has royal blood, it does not mean that she will like you when you two meets." She frowned. "Although Yue is not worthy of you, she is still a better choice than her sister Yun who has not spoken a word since the day she was born. Her expression always makes people feel that everyone owes her something." She paused for a moment. "But when you think about it, no one is good enough to marry you because you are the best of the best man in Misnix and no other men can compare to you."

Lixin patted Kexin's head tenderly and said, "You have reached this age. Should I suggest something to father when we get home?"

Kexin said madly, "No, if one day I want to get married, I have to choose the person I like."

Lixin said, "Since I will marry Yue soon, you might as well marry Bang. The prince of Misnix Kingdom is also a good choice. It is very likely that you will become the queen one day."

Kexin shouted loudly, "Brother, he is your friend! More importantly, he likes men! How dare you pair me with Prince Bong!" She sat back on the chair angrily.

Lixin and the other seven laughed.
