The fire of resentment

When Vivian saw her, she straightened up and kept a safe distance from Christopher. Her action was spontaneous.

Her goal was to entice Christopher and raise doubts in Abigail's mind. But deep down, she was not willing to do all this.

She was doing this only to fulfill her father's wishes. Her inner self didn't allow her to go extreme to make Abigail suspect her of having affairs with Christopher.

"You didn't knock," Christopher stated coldly.

Vivian was stunned at his serious look. She wasn't the only one who was taken aback; Abigail was as well.

"I… You should look over this file."

Due to her natural, simple nature, Abigail was about to say sorry, but she didn't do it in the end. She confidently walked over to him.

"Leave it here. I'll look into it later." Christopher was indifferent. He returned his attention to the laptop.

Abigail didn't leave. She gaped at him, both irritated and astounded.
