She isn't worth discussing.

Christopher turned his focus to Abigail, his arms finally wrapping around her. He had a mischievous smile on his face, his eyes gleaming. "You really surprised me," he remarked, his tone light and playful. "Such a bold move!" He held her gaze, amazed and curious at the same time. "What is on your mind? Are you upset with Nancy?"

His question stunned Abigail. Her attempt to conceal her irritation fell short, and Christopher picked up on it right away. She felt a pang of disappointment in herself; her acting skills weren't as convincing as she had hoped.

"Is that obvious?" she asked.

Christopher nodded in affirmation. "Yes, it's written all over your face."

Admitting defeat, Abigail shrugged and conceded, "Yes, I am upset with her." She couldn't deny her feelings any longer. "I was overjoyed at the prospect of working with a talented and young designer. But she flatly refused to give me an appointment. Huh! It seems that success has made her arrogant."
