The argument between Abigail and Christopher

When Christopher finally came back to his cabin, his secretary informed him that Abigail had been waiting for him. He was surprised to know this. At the same time, he felt a pang of embarrassment and remorse.

Abigail was so distressed that she had come down here to talk to him instead of waiting for him at home.

"When did she come?" he asked anxiously.

"Almost an hour ago," the secretary replied.

"Shit," he mumbled quietly, his fingers sliding over his hair.

He hesitated for a moment before gently pushing the door open. His gaze fell on the petite figure standing beside the glass wall with her arms folded across her sternum.

Christopher approached her slowly, looking at her stiff back. His measured steps conveyed a sense of caution and apprehension.
