“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

Abigail took a moment to absorb Vivian's words and her heartfelt gesture. She was pleased to see that Vivian had such deep regard for Pamela. She smiled warmly and put her hand on hers.

"I've forgotten the incident already, and I am not upset with her. We all know she loves this family," Abigail reassured Vivian. "The problem is that she doesn't know how to express it properly."

Vivian chuckled, her playful demeanor resuming. "I totally agree with you."

They both burst out laughing. Their conversation soon transitioned to a lighter and more playful tone.

As the atmosphere lightened, Vivian couldn't contain her excitement about another piece of news. "I have another thing to tell you," she chirped excitedly, her eyes sparkling. "I am pregnant."

"What? Oh, my…" Abigail's hands flew to her mouth as she felt shivers all over her body. "You're saying it right now! You should have announced the good news first."
