“What do you mean?” Christopher clasped her arm. “Stop talking nonsense and eat the medicine,” he hissed, placing a tablet in her palm.

Under his fiery gaze, Abigail cowered.

"Do you find it difficult to meet my demand for a baby? It has been two years, Christopher." 

He didn’t answer her question. All he did was stare at her, acting mute.

“Why do I feel like you don’t care about my feelings?” Abigail asked. “Don’t you love me?”

His silence was the clear answer.

The Billionaire's Sick Wife

Taken aback, Ella became frozen. She couldn't understand why Jasper was acting so impatiently. The hall was filled with guests, including Sebastian Hubbard and his family. Jasper's actions seemed oddly rebellious as though he was eager to proclaim their love to the world.

Jasper, noticing her discomfort, gazed into her eyes with a worried expression. "Are you okay?" he asked, holding her face delicately. His heart ached at the thought of Ella feeling uneasy at the party. He had been preoccupied with the guests and hadn't had time for her. A stab of regret pierced his heart.

The thought that Ella might have felt out of place among the unfamiliar faces plagued him. He was overwhelmed with remorse for not giving her enough attention. To make amends with her, he had stolen some private moments with her.

Ella, attempting to allay his worries, put on a smile and assured him, "I am fine."
