~Zayne Beckett~
It's been a couple of days. The night before the Winter ball.
It's the beginning of the last month of the year, but there's yet to be snow. My favorite season was approaching soon.
I sat in the park in the middle of the night, watching the stars while listening to music. The grass was dry, just waiting to be snowed on. I laid on my back to give my neck a rest.
My mind was on that nerdy kid who asked Aurora to the Winter Ball. It was obvious that I was angry at him, but also that I was saddened that she accepted.
I didn't know for sure, but with the smile she gave him, it would've been a yes.
My eyes closed for themselves, having the urge to rip the memory right out of my brain.
I liked Aurora a lot.
I know I said it before, but I'm more confident about it now. I let out a sigh and opened my eyes, being greeted by familiar violet ones.
