Seeing Caleb angrily leave made Jake let a little chuckle, after all in the last two lifetimes he had been suppressed and had to act like a dumbass in front of everyone to just get face slapped in the end.
Turning his attention to the girl in his lap Jake couldn't help getting a hard-on, in his last two lives including his original word he hadn't touched a girl unless they were about to slap him or give him a handshake.
Now having someone as beautiful as Cindy on his lap of course his thoughts started to differ.
"Cindy, how about you come to my place tonight?" Jake said in a low tone only she could hear.
Hearing that masculine voice brushing on her neck and ears made Cindy feel a certain excitement she had never felt before, Cindy hurriedly stood up, as she could already feel something pressing against her.
"Well that's all for today, I'll be going home now." Cindy said ignoring what Jake said and ran out in embarrassment.
[What a pity.] Jake thought as he watched Cindy leave, he really had no other plans besides just hanging out and deepening their relationship.
Standing up Jake stretched a bit before saying goodbye to Haley and leaving the Stuart Company building.
After all, even though it was chapter one, many important things happened today that set off the tone for the protagonist's rise that Jake wanted to cut off no matter what.
[Damn this braindead author really rushed the whole story, 90% of act one happened in just two months with the other four months having countless face slap scenes and the protagonist catching more and more random women.] Jake thought leaving the building.
Getting into his sports car, Jake drove to a specific bakery.
"Well, Molly we'll give you another week, have that ten mil ready by next week, or find another way to pay." A grouchy voice said.
"You could also pay in another more relaxing way." Another voice said in a more lustful tone while laughing.
[Oh looks like I'm just in time.] Thought Jake as he opened the door and heard the two men.
[Well time to play the hero, but damn no wonder Molly attracted so much trouble.] Jake thought as he saw molly.
Unlike Haley's tantalizing body figure that would make you want to do anything in your power to get, or Cindy's perfect figure that resembles a goddess, Molly had the body of a succubus.
Just looking at that voluptuous body would arouse a man's desire to dominate and keep.
Looking at her Jake couldn't help remembering the last two lifetimes when Molly tried to comfort him when he learned of Haley's betrayal.
[Funny how she ends up leaving me as well.] Thought Jake.
Getting rid of all of those distracting thoughts, Jake finally made his presence known.
"How much does she owe you?" Jake asked loudly as he approached.
When the two men heard him they looked back, immediately they could recognize that Jake was some second-generation rich kid just by the clothing he was wearing.
"Get out of here kid, Adults are talking." One of the men said rudely not paying Jake any mind.
After all, it was obvious they weren't here for the money, but instead for something else.
"Jake please leave, this doesn't concern you." Molly said in worry the moment she saw Jake.
The two knew each other as Jake was Molly's landlord and would often visit her a couple of times a month to see how she was doing, or if she needed any help.
"C'mon Molly You know I care about you, besides what's this about you owing them ten mil?" Jake said going behind the cashier register and right next to Molly.
Seeing Jake get so close to Molly the two men immediately got angry, after all, if they didn't complete this mission by next week, their boss would send them to the mines.
"This ain't none of your business kid, I recommend you leave now before things get a little dirty." One of the men said before taking out a long switchblade.
Seeing this all Jake wanted to do laughing before saying "My names' not Kid. It's Jake Stuart. And If you know anything about that name you'll take back what you said."
Hearing Jake's full name both men hesitated for a while, after all, who didn't know Jake Stuart in the Capital?
He was heir to the Stuart family which was the biggest power in the capital besides the government.
But remembering their boss' threat and the things he could do to them both men ignored the obvious implications of their actions.
"So what? Where's your bodyguard? I mean your out here all alone, it would be a shame if the last standing Stuart family member died from a random robbery in a bakery shop from trying to play the hero." The larger man said more menacingly, waving around his blade.
"Are you sure about that?" Jake said in a soft yet dangerous tone before slightly lifting up the Jaket he was wearing.
"Fuck" One of the men yelled as he scampered back, and without saying anything both men dashed out of the bakery.
After all, right there on Jake's hip was a gun, something that was impossible for most people to get, and as low-ranking gang members they weren't allowed to even touch guns.
Seeing them run and trip over themselves Jake laughed a little, after all before the apocalypse guns were so rare that only the police and major underground gangs had them.
But after the apocalypse, it was normal to see guns everywhere as they became the weapons of this who did not awaken.
Even Jake, the young master of the Stuart family, had no access to guns as Haley would never let him a foot near one.
But this gun was something he had gotten from his daily sign-in.
[Desert Eagle
Weapon Type: Gun
Properties: Infinite bullets, Infinite Durability, Upgradeable]
When he first saw this Jake himself was a little surprised, after all as the villain his luck was as bad as can be.
Getting a gun with infinite bullets and durability was god sent, it would make everything easier.
[Hehe, run along it won't be long until your whole gang is gone.] Jake thought as he saw the two men running.
"It is you." Molly said in surprise as she heard that voice once again.
She thought it sounded familiar, but now hearing Jake's voice and the voice in her head it all matched up.
"Whats me?" Jake asked in surprise.
"Nothing, but thank you Jake for the help." Molly said with some tears in her eyes
He not only let her rent the shop for cheap, but he would often come by and help her out with some things and even introduced her to some high-end clients that keep her shop running.
She had met Jake at her lowest point and he helped her get back on her feet and start working for herself.
"It's no problem Molly." Jake said as look at the teared-eyed beauty.
"No Jake, you've helped my family a lot, without you who knows where I would be." Molly said as her emotions got high.
Just thinking about the past couple of years after her husband died, the only man she could really rely on was Jake.
As every other man wanted something in return, and at one point she almost let herself go, but that's when she found Jake.
Someone willing to help her out in her time of need, without requesting anything back, and now she had got him caught up in her troubles.
"I'm sorry Jake, I didn't mean to impact you." Molly said with her head down.
"Don't worry Molly besides I told you to come to me if you ever needed any help with something. Are they loan sharks or something? And why do you owe them so much?"
"I don't owe them anything, but before my husband died he took out a loan from them in my name without me knowing, and now I Have to legally pay them back, and even worse it is obvious they're not even after the money." Molly said, pacing back and forth in the small space while rambling.
"And just when I had my life back to gather, something like this has to happen, even worse Kaley is coming back next month, and I can't have her worrying."
"Have you tried contacting the police or seeing any lawyers?" Jake asked distractingly as his eyes were on her backside which would jiggle a little bit every time she walked.
"Yes, the policy says that it's legal and all the lawyers said was there wasn't much I could do about it since my legal husband did it in my name." The longer Molly went on the angrier she became.
Which was unusual for her as she was a very soft-spoken woman most of the time.
"Calm down Molly, I'm here, besides they'll be gone in three days from now." Jake said, hugging Molly from behind.
Something he's been wanting to do since his first time playing as the villain.
