Graduation, Part 2
I awoke to the excessive ringing of my cell phone. I looked over at Ryan, and he was still asleep. I answered it, /"Hello?/"
It met me with an angry Elena. Alex, where are you and my idiot brother?
/"We’re sleeping. Why?/" I asked, feeling confused.
Did you two idiots forget we graduate today? She shouted at the other end of the phone.
/"No, why?/" I asked her.
Graduation starts in a half-hour!
/"No, we have a few hours. We set our alarms to wake up,/" I reassured Elena.
Then you must have forgotten. Check the time and get your asses here, or it’ll piss off our parents! She yelled, hanging up on me. I looked, and she was right. We were late!
I shook Ryan, but he wasn’t budging, so I pushed him off the bed, hearing a loud thud. He jumped up in his full glory. /"Alex, what the hell? A simple good morning would have worked!/"
/"We’re late, you idiot!/"
