After a few days, they released me from the hospital. We had to complete the finals. Then it was spring break. Since anything to do with water was out of the question because of my leg. What is one to do in that case? Oh, I don’t know, go camping. Why do I have a bad feeling about this trip?

I got home from class and collapsed on the couch. I propped my leg up so I could rest. Have you ever tried sitting through a class taking a final with a cast wrapped around your upper thigh? It’s not fun.

I drifted off to sleep, and the next thing I knew, someone woke with their soft lips on mine. I opened my eyes to see Scarlett grinning at me. /"Afternoon, sleepyhead./"

/"How long was I out?/" I asked, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes and propping myself up.

/"For a few hours. How’s the leg?/" She asked me.
