From the corner of his eye, Aiden took the chance to study Lincoln while the attention was off him. The blond seemed almost out of place among his dark haired cousins. The white-blonde offered a stark contrast, but his eyes, now they were the exact same shade of blue.

Toby was an odd fish. He had red hair and his eyes didn't match up either, but that wasn't enough for Aiden to strike him out as a member of the Lavoe family. He'd earned a place at their table, after all.

With Link, there were other elements of his uncle and cousins in his features too. He was prettier than he was handsome, if that even made sense. He didn't have the same rugged harshness.
