A cold, thin smile unhalted Eric's mouth, the violent blue of his eyes sparkling like rods of lightning across stormy skies. /"Ah, well look who it is. I told you that you underestimated your place, half-blood. My father could have made any one of the cubs cover Toby's shift today. But where is the fun in that when he could settle for making our pitiful Omega take the brunt of the shit jobs?/"
/"Enough, Eric,/" Clyde injected, spinning in a sharp arc, fixing his brother with a harsh glare. /"It not like that. Dad has his reasons for making Link cover the shift. Stop being such an ass./"
/"He can't help his personality,/" Link muttered snidely.
/"What are those reasons?/" Eric demanded, ignoring Link and focusing on his younger brother. /"Besides him being the Omega and therefore the pack bitch, I mean? What else is he good for?
