Chapter31

#Chapter31

The werewolf way wasn't an easy custom to learn. During his residency among them, Aiden had managed to establish one key component about their veiws: They detested outsiders.

As soon as he ventured outside of the Alpha's house, unfriendly looks and the occasional sneer followed him like a bad smell. He liked to think Eric and Toby had climatisted him to it, but he still found himself flinching everytime a new pair of eyes would narrow on him.

Some of the people he bumped into, some of the things they muttered under their breath to him, had a way of making Link seem like the epitome of 'warm and welcoming'.

Shaker's Tavern merged with the edge of the wolf-run community, if Aiden had heard correctly. It wasn't, however, anything close to what he was expecting. Large in structure, a testament to the endurance of time, it was more of an eyesore than the glamorous commode he'd been anticipating when he'd found out it was owned by the Alpha.
