Chapter9

#Chapter9

Jackson was nice; he lacked the arrogance that many with his wealth and fame could have held. He seemed like such a genuine person. Sly knew that it was silly to base his view of Jackson off what little snippets he had seen, knowing that there was far more to him than just the bits he was being allowed to see, but there was something genuine about him that had Sly thinking that it was too sincere to be just an act.

/"How about we play a game instead?/" Jackson asked softly. Sitting up, he helped Sly into a sitting position before he stood, scooping him up with an effortlessness that still managed to surprise Sly, despite him having already proved that he could lug him about as though he was weightless.
