#Chapter19
Lucien Murdock was quite the disappointment.
He was fudging boring.
Okay, perhaps that was a little harsh; ever since Joel had told me that I would be meeting him, I had been hyping myself up, building a picture in my head of what he would be like.
The reality was disappointing. Lucien was just... so ordinary that it hurt.
Maybe I had been hoping that he was a little bit like me, hyper and weird, so I could try to justify my odd ways as being a Little, but he wasn't. If I had met him without being pre-warned, I would never have known.
It made me sad. It made my tummy hurt when I realized that even among those like me, I was still a weirdo.
He was a little shorter than I was and was even kind of handsome in the sort of way that made me want to bite down on his cheeks. He had brown hair and green eyes.
