#Chapter48
Emaya walked home, strolling down the streets. The sun was almost gone. The day dawned cloudy and cold with a light rain that chilled her. Emaya covered her head with the hood and hugged herself in an attempt to keep herself warm. The weather was cold but beautiful. It felt peaceful.
Emaya walked slowly, taking small steps, not wanting to go home, but didn’t want to be late either. Not wanting to give her dad any reason to be mad. Even though he doesn’t need any reason to be mad at her. He had become a complete psycho.
Emaya quickly took him out of her head, not wanting to ruin the beauty of the weather.
Emaya took a turn and realized this was the same street that leads to that crooked fence. Emaya didn’t want to stop. She wanted to keep walking straight into the darker area until she reached the pond and bumped into Ash.
Emaya recalled he doesn’t like rain so he would probably be inside his house.
