#Chapter32
Unknown's POV:
/"Mom? Dad?/" I weakly called out, my small voice echoing back to me as the only answer I got. I paced back and forth not really wanting to go down into the basement. I didn't like darkness... And the stairs were very high for me.
/"This... this is not funny! I can hear you!/" I shouted again, slowly climbing down a few steps. I heard my mother yell and laugh, so I supposed they are making fun of me for not daring to come down here.
I will show them! I'm... I'm already 7 years old, I'm a big boy. Besides, I'm not afraid of anything. It runs in the family... At least my mother always said so.
As I felt myself being more confident about it, I climbed down entirely into the dark basement, letting my eyes adjust to the poor lighting. I could see the silhouette of my mother, but not my father.
