It’s funny isn’t it? Even when you try so hard to stay away from people, they find a way of coming into your life.
Human beings. Wild and dangerous. 
We are the chaos to our own madness. We are the reason why we keep backtracking, the world does not move forward from hatred and war. 
Every sun that shines, every moon that awakens, every night that turns into day, the more the years go on, the worse we become.

AVA 

Awaking to the sound of thunder and lightning, I managed snap myself out of the comatose state I seemed to be in. The heavy raindrops could be heard all over the little wooden cabin of mine and usually, I indulged in the sound of the wavering emotions of the weather but now, as I lay on the floor with my dress covered in my own blood and my heart still straining against my chest, I couldn’t indulge in anything but the suffocating presence of the mystery man’s scent all over my body.

He smelled like strong cologne mixed with sweat and mint. He smelt like a hurricane, a storm, he smelt like a beautiful disaster and I couldn’t get his scent out of my head, I couldn’t stop smelling him on me, feeling him on me, everywhere.

Finding the courage to get myself up on my feet, I waddled over to the bathroom, managing to take a look at myself in the mirror and I looked awful.
