It’s funny isn’t it? Even when you try so hard to stay away from people, they find a way of coming into your life.

We are the chaos to our own madness. We are the reason why we keep backtracking, the world does not move forward from hatred and war. 
Every sun that shines, every moon that awakens, every night that turns into day, the more the years go on, the worse we become.

He looked down at the gun in my hand before he looked back up into my eyes, holding my soul captive as he stared me down and yet all I felt was danger, I didn’t trust him to be in my home and definitely not after the incident by the lake. I wondered why he was here, was he searching for me?

Not wasting a second to let him getting the upper hand, I pulled the trigger of the shotgun and watched as the bullet grazed the side of him arm, though he didn’t seem so affected by it, he was however visibly in pain but he stood still, just clutching his arm as he watched me in silence.
