It was strange, everything was strange. It almost seemed too easy. I had finally got out of the hospital even though they had advised me to stay, I couldn’t stand another second there, it was only a reminder of what had happened to me and how weak I had become and so I made it out, being discharged I left and not surprisingly, my parents didn’t cate at all about where I had been or why I was so broken up, one look at my face and anyone could see how much abuse I had endured, I was still bruised everywhere, I still had a black eye, my lips were still swollen and cut, and even though the hospital had called my parents to let them know I was there, they never bothered to show up or even ask me what happened to me when I was back home.
