Everything was a mess and a part of me regretted even telling any of this to the police because as I sat here in an interrogation room, I felt as though I was the one who had done something wrong here. The way I was being questioned, it felt like I wasn’t being heard, no one was hearing me…

The female officer said as she jot down some notes, she seemed to be the only one who seemed to actually believe my words.

/"Tell me Yui, you said the word ‘no’? You made sure to let them know that you did not consent to having sexual intercourse with them?/"

The male officer asked, questioning me like I was the one who had raped someone here. The way his frigid stance was towering over me, his dark gaze looking deep into my soul, he didn’t believe me or he didn’t care to believe me. He was constantly trying to make it seem like I was being dramatic.
