Chapter 93 Sorry We Won't Be Hunting Together Tomorrow

The Moonlight Slash skill Exp is now more than half filled, only 59 Exp left or 118 more uses of Moonlight Slash to fill the Exp bar. But it looks like tomorrow's hunt won't be as smooth as today's and yesterday's because I have to help my friends hunt beasts.

So that seems to be hindering my hunting. Fortunately, I still have the 20 points I got from teacher Ryan for successfully learning Analysis Eyes today. So that I can exchange those 20 points into 2 Beast Cores.

After checking my status and skill progress, I went to take a shower and rest until it was time for dinner. Dinner time arrived, and I immediately headed to the cafeteria to meet with my friends to discuss the hunt that we would do tomorrow.

When I got there I saw them eating and talking about something. I took my food first then joined them. "Hey, what are you guys talking about?" I asked what they were talking about.

"Oh, hi Bobby, you know that we have two days off on weekends, right?" Roony told me that weekend we will have no lessons for two days. "Yes, I know that. So what?" But I already knew about it and asked him what was going on at the weekend.

"Ah... we are planning this weekend we will go to the city to visit James' house. How? Are you interested in going there with us Bobby?" Roony says that they plan to go into town and visit James' house. James nodded his head.

"Hmm... how long are you planning to be in the city?" Before agreeing to go with them I asked how long they planned to be in town. We are planning to spend the night there, so it will be two days and one-night Roony answers my question and tells me that they will be gone for two days and one night.

Hearing they planned to go to the city for two days and one night, I thought for a moment about whether to join or not. If before they asked me to go to the city, maybe I would be very happy to go there. But now somehow I feel like I'm not interested in the city anymore and feel like something from their attitude seems to change towards me now, not like before.

Therefore, "Sorry guys, it seems I can't come with you to the city this time. Maybe another time, because I have things to do this weekend." I refused their invitation to go to town and visit James' house.

"Okay, if it's like that, Bobby, you won't be lonely for two days here, right?" Then Roony asked me if I would be lonely without my friends accompanying me. "I don't think it will be a problem" Of course it wasn't a problem for me because I was used to living alone for 3 years after my parents died.

"Okay then" Roony nodded his head, and the others also nodded their heads at my answer. "Oh yeah, tomorrow we are going to hunt together. So what kind of beast are we planning to hunt tomorrow?" Then I asked them about the hunting plan for tomorrow.

"Ah, about that Bobby. Actually…" Roony wanted to say something, but James stopped him and he continued speaking, "I'll do it Roony, sorry beforehand Bobby. But my big brother wants to help us hunt tomorrow, but if you want to join us. It's Okay" James told me that his brother wanted to take him hunting together.

"Oh, it's okay. I'm fine with that, but I don't think I'll be going hunting with you guys tomorrow." I also felt that it was fine and didn't want to go hunting with them tomorrow. Because I wouldn't be able to absorb the souls of the beasts I hunted if they were around.

"Sorry Bobby, we can go hunting together another time" Nanda spoke to me this time, it seemed he felt bad for me. "Okay, no problem Nanda. Yeah, we can hunt together next time" For some reason, I feel a little disappointed in them, even though it actually doesn't hurt me at all.

After that, the atmosphere at our dinner table was a little awkward because no one spoke anymore. Seeing an awkward situation like this, I quickly finished my food and I asked permission for them to return to the room first with the excuse of being tired after hunting and training today.

The four of them saw me leave the cafeteria and no one returned to their room after I returned to the room.

"Hey, you think this is okay? Bobby is our friend you know" Roony spoke to James, Adel, and Nanda.

"Yes, you are right Rony. But you really want to keep losing to him, you know the only way we can go to the dungeon is by becoming class president. With Bobby already in the Warrior Uncommon category, it is impossible for us to beat him." Nanda spoke to Roony about the reason they didn't want to go hunting with Bobby.

"Yes, what Nanda said was true Rony. We cannot become strong Warrior if we are always behind his shadow, especially from someone who is not from a Warrior family. It makes me really sick." This time it was Adel who spoke and mentioned that Bobby was not from the Warrior family.

"Yes, you are right Nanda, Adel. But I guess this has nothing to do with him not being from a Warrior family right? We just don't want to always lose to him." Roony felt that what Nanda and Adel had said was true, but he disagreed with Adel's words which stated that Bobby was not from the Warrior family.

"If you don't like it, you can go with him and you will never enter the dungeon as long as you are in the academy and get a skill for your family. Because you can't beat him to become a class president" Adel told Rony to go with Bobby if he didn't like what he said.

"Calm down, guys. We do this to make ourselves stronger. Not to antagonize Bobby" James tried to calm the heated atmosphere between Rony and Adel.

"Humph!" Adel didn't speak anymore and didn't want to look at Rony. Meanwhile, Roony could only shake his head because of Adel's behavior like that. James who saw Nanda with a face that didn't care what happened could only shake his head.

'Sorry Bobby, but we also don't want to lose to you. A dungeon is too important to be just friendship.' Nanda who seemed not to care was talking in his heart. Then looked towards the stairs leading to our room.
