Rein couldn't accept the reality that came with that good luck easily, for him it was something impossible and made him very angry at the systems. Rein wasn't one to take luck lightly, because he believed in the saying "After darkness, light will shine." So, when he was constantly given endless luck, Rein began to worry that bad luck would come in equal measure as well. Not without reason, in his second year as a professional VRFPS player, Rein had experienced this before.
He won the tournament with a landslide score until the semifinals, then the situation turned.
"I don't want to lose with a score of 0 again!"
"Did someone plan all of this?" Rein wondered.
"Starting with the Sakuya race, the invitation, Special Quest, Telepathy, and now the path all the way went straight to the Sakuya clan relic!"
"What's next? BEASTS? Will the Nine-Tailed beast eat me?"
Rein couldn't comprehend all of the things he had faced from the start. He had thought that the game systems, which were built by AI, were supposed to be perfect and fair judges for the players. Therefore, it seemed sketchy to Rein that they so easily gave him a Special Quest, especially since he was just Level 0 with 0 experience and 0 playtime.
But Rein wasn't going to run from it, he felt joy inside...
"It's such a pleasure for me to have caught your attention. I'd love it, and I'm not going to make it easy for you either...
"Let's suffer together!"
Rein clenched his fists in frustration for the unfair treatment he received due to the system's lust for competition among players. "Gaia even said, .... it's so clear they want to prison a player on high competition."
"Be ready to clash with your own piece!"
Rein looked at the Scroll of Sakuya Hill in his hand, "Open!" he said aloud.
—DING!
[ Scroll of Sakuya Hill
1. Preserving nature for living beings has been a tradition passed down by human ancestors for thousands of years. We, the Sakuya clan, will devote our lives to preserving nature on this planet! Even if it means sacrificing our lives!

[ (!) If you open all the information contained in the Scroll of Sakuya Hill, you will receive some benefits ]
"I'm scared of the word 'benefits' being mentioned twice today," Rein said, unable to rest due to his racing mind.
"Suvice, do you know how to open it?" Rein idly asked, not sure if the game feature would work that way, just out of curiosity, yet he was humiliated by Suvice...
[ (!) Where is your brain? At the Hill? Bring it down! ]
For a normal person, it may sound normal and mean nothing, but when Rein read it, he was so happy. Since the beginning, Suvice only gave him partial directions, like saying, "372 meters to safe place, right?" Rein teased the system.
"That sounds the same for me," Rein continued with a smirk. With an innocent facial expression, he pointed to the Hill, "All of the keys to unlock it are here, right? Suvice? Am I right? Hahaha~"
-Ding!
[ Human Eyes skill level up! ]
"This skill is related to the way I think? Is that so?"
Rein always used rhetorical sentences to develop his way of thinking, even if it led to negative thoughts. He combined rhetorical sentences and boundless suspicion to achieve his goals.
"Human Eye skill description!"
[ACCESS DENIED]
"Fly skill description!"
[ACCESS DENIED]
"Hmmm... what's wrong? I don't have much time!" Rein said, "It's better to finish the Special Quest and immediately go to meet the person behind the invitation!"
Rein intended to continue his journey and find the Lord. He opened the Map and saw that the mark for this Special Quest had changed position. It was no longer specifically pointing to the Shrine area, but rather to an area of level 2 or level 3 below the top of the hill, in the north.
Rein had to climb the hill. The ban on this hill made it difficult for Rein to complete the Special Quest quickly. It should have been easy with the Fly skill, but now he had to navigate through the dense undergrowth and be careful of the steep terrain.
As he walked in, Rein touched a cherry blossom tree that seemed to give him positive energy, making him feel like the hill and the trees around it were prepared for him. After walking for five minutes at the foot of the hill, Rein finally found a path, and after following it, he found something amazing, it was a Torii.
Rein stood in front of the Torii, an impressive wooden gate that stood tall at five meters. He noticed an inscription stone on the left side with black kanji characters. He touched the stone and the romanized version of the kanji appeared, "Senri Kaidan." Rein didn't know what it meant, but he was mesmerized by it.
"By the appearance, this place is wonderful. If someone didn't see the inscription stone, they wouldn't judge this place as a relic. It's clear that the Hill is well taken care of, except for the bushes."
Rein stepped through the Torii and started up the stairs, then a notification popped up:
[You just went through Senri Kaidan gate]
" Your footsteps are remembered at Senri Kaidan. Proceed or return, everything will have an impact on your future "
A female voice whispered peacefully in Rein's ear. As he stepped on the first stair, Rein felt a sudden surge of pressure within him. He had no idea where the feeling came from, but he assumed it was because of the sacred nature of the place. He stood silently on the first stair for a moment, looking up the hill and seeing endless mounds of stairs.
Suddenly, the panorama and scenery of the place changed. It was now full of white cherry blossoms and no bushes at all.
'I just blinked and this place changed!' Rein thought, feeling frightened by the sudden change.
He blamed the game's system for carelessly giving a quest to a weak player like him. Still, apart from the quest, Rein felt that there was something good about continuing this journey.
He stepped his foot onto the second stair and a notification appeared.
—Tap
" Congratulations, your common thread is connected to the universe "
The wind gently swept across his body and the trees around him seemed to dance and welcome his arrival. Rein couldn't agree more with his ego, he must take revenge on them, "I gave y'all a choice but you choose to die, peasant!"
