The battle at Zestella's borders had raged on for weeks, a violent battle started by the Teraquin armies. They were sent by Kendel, who, after dethroning his mother and conquering Vanadias, set his sights on Zestella. Three weeks ago, Kendel himself joined the fray, taking direct command of his forces.

With Kendel's arrival, the fighting escalated into a much brutal conflict. Zestella's army, already strained, found itself steadily losing ground under Kendel's onslaught.
