BIANCA'S POV

Lara and I were sitting in the car looking out the windshield, me trying to understand what she told me and she probably thinking it over in her head "Why would he do something like that? It doesn't make sense, in the end it was you who he had the problem with" I pointed out and my sister nodded "I know, but I also know none of my mechanics would do anything to my car. Their family isn't known, however that man's family was known before. It wasn't that difficult to find them."

"But kidnapping the poor man? He doesn't have the blame of anything happening" I insisted, and she nodded "But the man is desperate to get out of there and meet his daughter, he was an easy target, so he did it so he wouldn't get out of line" I though "But that's not the worst thing," she muttered and I frowned. "Is there anything worse than Gallagher having something to do with Cameron's accident?" I asked, surprised, and she nodded. "Before leaving, he told me someone on the team, he thinks the board, is in cahoots with Gallagher," she revealed, and I took a breath of air, surprised to hear that. "What the fuck? And Cameron is meeting with them right now?" I asked and my sister nodded "And for that reason I want to go with him. I don't trust anyone who isn't family at this point."

"Alright. Do you know where the building is?" I asked, knowing that unconsciously it's one of the reasons for Lara's stress at this moment. "I'll tell you" she said, so I fastened my seatbelt and started driving.

Almost two hours later, we arrive at our destination, and it doesn't take long for Lara to get out of the car, with me behind her. When we enter the building the guy at the reception stops us, which isn't good for him, because an angry Lara always gets what she wants. "How can I help you, ma'am?" The man asked kindly, but from my sister's face, I know she didn't like him stopping her. "I'm looking for Cameron Edwards," Lara replied dryly. "I'm sorry, but Mr. Edwards is in a meeting," he informed, and Lara rolled her eyes. "Are you going to tell me where my husband is, or do I have to look for him?" She asked and the man denied "I can't let you pass, ma'am" the guy insisted "Very well, I'll find him" Lara said starting to walk towards the elevator with me behind her.

"Ma'am, you can't…" he started and tried to go for Lara's arm when another hand stopped him. "Don't even think about putting a single finger on my wife, do you understand?" Cameron asked seriously and the man nodded. A small smile appeared on my sister's face and once the guy looked at the ground and lowered his arm, Cameron put an arm around Lara's shoulders and brought her closer to his body. "What are you doing here? I thought you would stay home" Cameron said with a frown "I preferred to come and give you a hand. Have they given you the recordings yet?" my sister asked, and Cameron denied "Something weird is going on."

"Why you said so?" I asked curiously. "They're giving me the slip, and then they tell me they don't have them," my brother-in-law responded, and I could see how Lara frowned. We both looked at each other thinking the information we had discovered s true. "Tell me you brought the reports, Bi" my sister asked and a big smile had appeared on my face, because at least it had been a good idea to bring the reports, even though from a at first they had been for me to distract myself while I waited for Lara to come out of her visit to prison.

"I have them" I stated, and a smile appeared on our faces. The moment my sister stretched out her hand in my direction, I handed her the papers I had in my bag, and she took them, all with her husband looking from one to the other. "Do you carry the reports around with you all the time?" He asked surprised and we both nodded. "Let's just say we don't trust anyone with our reports. "We prefer to have them on us just in case," I revealed, and Cameron nodded.

Not much later, Cameron opens the door to a room where there were several people, and a few apparently didn't like us being here. "Cameron, this is a serious meeting. I don't know what these women are doing here," a man pointed out and both Lara and I rolled our eyes. "Of course they can be here, they are my wife and my sister-in-law, and I want them to be here."

"Well, they should have been there from the beginning, not now in the middle of the meeting," said another as Cameron pulled out the chair for my sister. We both stayed behind Lara since there were no more chairs and the truth is that I didn't mind standing. I don't even think Lara will last long sitting down despite being five months pregnant. "This meeting could have ended a long time ago if you gave us the recordings you should have sent to the FIA" my sister pointed out.

"Well, ask the FIA for them. We don't have them" said a man, rolling his eyes. "That's a good thing to say, because the director tells us he never received the recordings, only transcripts, and my husband says that's not what he said," my sister responded with a smile, but I know she's fuming inside, which is why Cam gave her a little squeeze on her shoulders. "He may be confused; in the end we did the interview shortly after the accident"

"I wouldn't forget something like that, I can assure you," Cameron responded tensely. "You can go find me those recordings now or I swear I'll put an end to your company," Lara said with a big smile on her face. "As if it were something so easy to do." snorted another man "Oh, believe me it will be. When I show everyone my husband's accident was caused. Do you think your drivers are going to want to be in a team where they can cause an accident?" my sister asked.

"You have no proof of that. We wouldn't do something like that," someone pointed out. "Ah, do you think I'm talking just to talk?" She asked, leaving the papers on the table and stretching them out. "These photos here show what the car was like after the accident and these here show how we found the car. As you can see, the flat bottom was manipulated. The boards don't have as much wear as they should without considering the laps my husband ran. This part of the engine is cleaner than it was originally. Do you really think you can win against me? Because I can assure you, I'm going to do everything to make anyone pay for my husband's accident," my sister said, and I could see the look of pride her husband had.

"It won't be that easy, and those photos you took could be manipulated," said the man who hadn't wanted us there. "Whenever you want, you can stop by the garage and I'll show you the difference between the first photos, ours, and the live car." I responded with a big smile on my face. We could clearly see they were tense and were looking for excuses to calm my sister down, but I know it won't be possible. When Lara gets something in her head, it's hard to get it out, and this will be impossible to get out since it involved Cameron's life.

"I guess we'll see each other in court," said a man, standing up, as did my sister who had a big smile on her face. "Clearly. I hope you have a good day" she responded, but before leaving, Lara turns in the direction where everyone was looking at us, which makes me turn around out of curiosity "Say hello to Gallagher for me, and tell him we'll see him in court too" Lara said with a big smile on her face and I noticed one of the men turned pale and leaned on the table.

A few minutes later, we were out of the building and into my car. I could see Lara tense, but I know this time it's because of the car and not because of anything else. Cameron is behind her and had her hand. The poor man must have been uncomfortable in that position, but I could also see how Lara calmed down more and, in the end, I know that is what matters to Cameron, that my sister is okay.

"Honey, what was that Gallagher thing about?" Cameron asked curiously. "Let's say I found out Gallagher may be involved in your accident," Lara revealed, and I could hear Cameron take a breath. "How did you find out?" he asked "A guy contacted me and told me what had happened. If you want, I'll take you to him," my sister said, a little tense, I guess because she didn't want Cameron to go to jail and meet her sister's murderer. "No, no, I trust you. I was just curious," he responded, and relief invaded my sister's body.

"So, what do we do now?" I asked, imagining Lara had a plan in mind "Now we collect all the evidence, we know where we can find more if there's any. Then we presented everything to the FIA. We denounce Cam's team for refusing to give us evidence and if you feel capable, we can go to the FIA so they themselves can ask you the questions related to the accident" said Lara, the last thing looking at her husband, who I could see in the rearview mirror who nodded.

It was a good plan, and I know Lara will do whatever it takes to bring justice to her husband's accident, and I will be at her side to make that happen... so my sister can have peace regarding the accident Cameron had and help her get over it a little more.
