Rance and his party arrived at the room where Mill had retreated to.

And when they did, Mill was already in the process of summoning a powerful eidolon as she was chanting something while closing her eyes and raising her arms.

She looked like she was already done doing so as the entire room rumbled. Seeing this, Milli took several steps forward and glared at Mill.

"Mill! What did you do?!" She shouted, as Mill turned towards them.

"I awakened the pharaoh's strongest combatants to deal with all of you." She replied, as four coffins from the walls began to open up, revealing mummies that immediately walked out of their coffins, weapons out and ready to fight.

Surprisingly, both mummies were women (before they died).

The two mummies marched up to Mill, and knelt before her.

She pointed at Rance's party with a smirk, and the mummies stood up and stared at Rance before they assumed battle positions.

One of the mummies wielded a shield and a spear, and the other wielded two Battle Axes.

"I see... so this is your trump card, hm?" Rance said, looking at both Milli and Maria and whispering something to them. "Show me how useful you are and just go and distract all of them. I'll take Milli from behind and free her soon enough."

Maria brandished her [Tulip 1], while Milli reluctantly unsheathed her sword.

"Hey, I'm going to spend some mana using [Support Magic] on you because I can sense that the mummies are stronger than both of you combined. Make it count, you only have 5 minutes too." Rance spoke again, before runes surrounded Maria and Milli. "[Mana Flow], [Counter Burst], [Iron Muscle], [Mind Charge]."

The two felt power rush through their body, as their bodies began feeling refreshed and they became confident.

"That's all, any more and your body might begin to break apart." Rance spoke once again, before he brandished both his weapons.

To be honest, Maria actually felt a little scared when he said that. Their bodies breaking apart? That's a good thing to know. Otherwise he'd accidentally kill them! Anyways, how many support spells does he have? He.... doesn't seem tired from continous spell usage yet.

Maybe the question was: How much mana does he have?

"Rance...."

"Hm?"

"Ah, I have something I needed to ask you. But for now, we have to focus on defeating those mummies!" Maria spoke, as Milli began to smile excitedly.

"YEAAAHHH!!! I'M FIRED UP!!!" She shouted, gesturing the mummies to come to them.

[ Cue BGM: Keep the Flag Flying (Guilty Gear Series) ]

The mummies began to charge, with the one holding the spear and shield on the front lines and the one with the battle axes behind it.

If Rance hasn't used a single support magic, Maria and Milli would have reacted slower. At this moment, Rance began shooting [Hirara Ore] rounds towards the mummy, as it blocked the shots while holding it's ground. The exploding bullets did barely anything or even dent the shield as it was forged using sturdy materials.

Either way, Rance fired more shots from the [DEagle] until it no longer had any rounds, making him put it back into his coat's pocket.

Milli, reacting fast enough when the mummy was close, had evaded it's spear and swung her sword towards the mummy who blocked the strike with some difficulty.

And then, the mummy wielding the battle axes jumped upwards and immediately went down whilst swinging it's axes down towards Milli, making Maria immediately aim her [Tulip 1] up towards the hopping mummy and fire it.

The mummy reacted by throwing one of it's axes to the ball of [Hirara Ore] that Maria fired towards it, sending the axe flying to the wall from the distance.

Maria then fired another shot towards the mummy, as it was sent flying backwards to the ground.

Meanwhile, Milli was quickly trying to gain an upper hand against her opponent, before seeing an opportunity from a feint which she grabbed immediately be stepping to the side, and stabbing the shoulder of the mummy she was facing before cutting off it's arm completely.

With a loud clang, the shield had been dropped to the ground, and Milli took the chance to take the shield.

"Mind if I use this?" She asked, as the mummy looked really angry and was about to use something else.

Meanwhile.... if you have noticed, Rance was already gone because he was sneaking around the room when he knew that Mill was too focused on trying to command the mummies to defeat both Milli and Maria.

When he was behind her, he wasted no time and grabbed Mill's waist, making her squeak in surprise.

"Wh-What...? When....!?"

"Thanks for being distracted, Mill. Now, it's time for Big Brother Rance to suplex you!"

He suplexed Mill down to the ground.

"Ow, that hurts!!!" Mill screamed in pain, as the mummies that were currently fucking Milli and Maria had their attention shifted to the direction of Mill and Rance, giving their opponent's a really big opportunity they don't hesitate to take.

"Take this!!!" Maria shouted, firing [Tulip 1] rapidly while it's recoil didn't affect her slightly. The blasts obliterated the mummies and left only a few craters there.

[ BGM End ]

"This might tickle a lot, kid!" Rance spoke, quickly putting her into a hold that she would barely be able to escape from as he began to forcefully take out the ring with magic.

"Uwaaahhh!!! Noooo!!!!"

After a short while, Rance took off the ring, and with a poof, Mill had become.... smaller. Her clothing was unaffected and it covered her small body that belonged to a child.

"....."

Rance stood up and put the Phil Ring to the pocket where he kept the other Phil Ring inside, patted it, and sighed.

"Milli. Just give the brat a good spanking when you go back to Custom with her. I'm going further down. Alone." Rance spoke, feeling something below.

That was from Sill's bracelet, which had began to send a S.O.S. signal to him. That also means three things: She's captured, she's in danger, or both.

Milli, without speaking anything else, smirked as she began to carry her sister back to Custom while Mill began to cry like a child.

Oh wait, she is a child forcefully turned adult.... Must an effect from the Phil Ring.

"Throwing such thoughts away.... Sill must be at the lower level of this dungeon." Rance spoke, tapping his foot and began to look like he was thinking of something. "I should just go down in the quickest manner this time. And, I'm going in alone." He continued, as Maria approached him immediately.

"Wait, I do have something to ask you after the battle right?"

Rance put his hands on his coat's pockets, glancing at her with a hint of curiosity.

"Please make it quick. I don't like waiting when the time comes." He replied while gathering mana around him.

"Umm..... How much mana do you currently have right now? What about your Talent in Magic?"

"Currently around 75%. And, about my talent in magic? That's a secret, but I'm sure you'd figure it out soon." He replied, before a yellow magic circle appeared behind him. "I'll see you later, when I defeat Elenoir and rescue my slave."

Rance raised his hand and saluted with only his middle and pointer fingers open, before he hopped to the middle of the magic circle.

"[Exceed Charge]! [Drill]!" He spoke, as the magic circle began to brighten and rapidly turn around, while not affecting him in the slightest.

Before Maria knew it, Rance was already drilling his way down and she tried to reach him, but she refrained from doing so.

When Rance was going down the floor like being in an elevator, he began to notice that his "drill" was piercing through flesh, and blood was beginning to stain his coat.

When the drill no longer pierced anything but air, he gestured his hand to make it stop and then hop down to a fleshy ground.

"Sill! Where are you!?" He asked, as several footsteps came from behind him.

When he turned around, he noticed Sill jumping towards him, arms spread out as she crashed on him.

"Master Rance!!!!" She shouted, rubbing her head to his chest as she hugged him tightly.

He reciprocated the hug by patting her back, as she was totally alright.

Although.... she might have a lot to explain. Especially when there's a guy sitting near the wall with a very punchable face.
