Chapter 11

"What is going on here", said Christian stepping back with fear in his eyes.

"Can you shut the help up instead of talking", said the man on the couch.

Christian hearing what the man said wanted to shout at the man for entering a location that he shouldn't be in. But the fear in his body was controlling his actions.

"Boss, this kid is the last one here probably we haven't caught", said bodyguard 1.

Christian hearing what the man just said felt his spine release a shiver.

"Did they come here to kill us", thought Christian.

Christian stepped back in fear and looked to his left and right.

"Ok great, then kill him to, I don't care if he's a child.", said the man on the couch.

Christian began to run as fast as he could away from these people. While running around to try and find the exit. He discovered a dark red liquid on the floor, coming from behind one of the building's support pillars.

Christian running towards the door could only think "I don't want to die; I don't want to die". Christian ran into the door using his hands to try and push the door open. Christian noticed the door wouldn't budge not matter what he did, and he doesn't understand why. He came threw this door but can't exit from it.

Christian looked back and saw dead bodies in areas around his job. Blood in multiple locations where employees would work at.

This wasn't some movie and Christian wasn't dumb enough to go around that pillar or behind the front desk when he was already sure there would be dead bodies behind them.

His phone went off with a beep.

He removed his phone from his pocket to discover a message from Sonic.

[Hey dude, are you going to stroll with me to the grocery store tonight? Text or call me back.]

When he raised his head, he could see an approaching sword. The only thing he could do by instinct was use a fire extinguisher, which thankfully made a clanging sound because it was made of metal. The sword clash was near, but all that mattered was that he was able to protect his face.

Before he knew it, Christian was running for his life, and he only caught a quick glimpse of the knife-wielder. He did not know where he was running, but he knew he had to escape the psychopath. He felt his heart throbbing so loudly that he believed it might leap from his chest.

'I'm going to die; I'm going to die! That was a genuine gangster who just attempted to stab me.'

As he ran back to where he had come from, he noticed a couple more men in suits at the gate. As soon as they saw him, they also charged him.

Furthermore! What the heck should I do?

He dashed to the side and exited the block, making his way to the part of the building site with additional dirt mounds, diggers, and the like. The issue was that there were only two entrances to the construction site, the one he had used and the other on the opposite end.

One was stationed in the north and the other in the south, but he fled west in his terror. The region was surrounded by a wall that was topped with barbed wire. Even if he had not cared about injuring himself, it would have been impossible for him to scale that obstacle.

The adrenaline in Christian's body eventually subsided, and he felt terribly weak after the high. His hands and legs were trembling, and he realized he could no longer run. He eventually opted to hide behind a dirt mound to catch his breath after diving between items.

In his endeavor to evade the guys pursuing him, Christian may use a variety of objects and objects to conceal himself. Upon peeking behind the dirt mound he had concealed himself behind, he observed three of them, each holding a sword.

Christian pondered at this time if he should call the police, but if he did so, it would only exacerbate the situation. These Data Hackers will do whatever it takes to obtain what they desire. Even if it means killing officers.

He again peered around the corner while observing and calculating his next move. He could see one person on his extreme left and another on his extreme right hunting for him among all the objects.

"Wait, where is the other individual?"

Christian felt a sharp, shooting pain in his lower back. It soon began to throb and felt warm.

Christian slung the fire extinguisher while turning around and gritting his teeth. Christian let go of the fire extinguisher, which dropped to the ground, after the corner successfully struck the top of his attacker's head. The lady appeared temporarily injured and dizzy, but he was not knocked unconscious. Moreover, Christian could see that his hands were stained with blood.

When he touched his back, he also felt the blood there. He had been stabbed.

"Damn it!" Christian exclaimed angrily.

The women were momentarily surprised by Christian's statements as it appeared that his weaving body was going to collapse. As a result of the shock and strain of the situation, he fell towards the woman. At that point, he began to consider his brother's smile and his parents' sobbing faces if he left them now.

Before falling to the ground, he struggled through the pain and placed his left foot out to stabilize himself. He then rotated his hip and back foot, and with his right hand, he gave the woman the biggest push he could muster, striking her on the chin. It was not a jab, but rather another punch that he had saw Jordan deliver. Learning the fundamentals of the jab had prepared him for this flawless punch. A straight line.

Upon contact, he felt a strong connection and a rush through his arm.

The woman tumbled to the ground and was struck unconscious, while Christian also fell to the ground.

Despite his success, he felt exhausted and weak, and all he wanted to do was close his eyes. His phone was the only thing he could see in front of him. He could still see his best friend's text message, along with a fresh one that he could read. [I am concerned about you, please text me back. You normally respond to my SMS messages. I hope you will not require surgery. I'll assist pay if you need. Just please respond.

Christian smiled slightly upon observing that his best friend was so concerned for him. All he could think of was Jordan's suffering if he died at this moment. Something he cannot allow to occur. Something he doesn't want to happen and won't allow happen.

Christian murmured, "I don't want to die," with hardly enough strength to speak.

*Footsteps*

Christian's eyes widened as he observed the boss and his additional guys standing over him, blood on his bodyguards. Christian realized he would never be able to forgive them. They killed his coworkers, his employer, and caused damage to his favorite place of employment. A location he has frequented since childhood.

"Kid, it's over for you. Cut his wrist and make sure he bleeds to death for injuring one of our comrades ", added the Supervisor.

He briefly heard the sound of the gun firing and the knives being sharpened. The following instant, his eyesight went completely black. His senses were still somewhat intact, and he now felt an even more excruciating pain in his wrist. It was even worse than the knife attack, but he was too exhausted to react or cry out.

Then, with his eyes closed and his eyesight gone, he heard a voice.

"I can feel your suffering and your rage. I will provide you with the necessary strength. Just let me help you. Invite me... Invite me ", the unknown voice stated.

After cutting his wrist, the men stepped up and nodded to their leader. The Supervisor regarded both of his guards.

"Get his body and place it in the trunk of the vehicle. We will take Data into his core to increase our strength ", claimed the Supervisor.

One of the guards grasped his collar and prepared to drag what he believed to be a dead body.

The hand of Christian twitched while being dragged. One of the Christian's eyes rapidly opened to reveal a red tent on the pupal.

Kill everyone. Christian heard internally.
