"Hey! "How are you doing, my most beloved girl?" When did you pick up the phone, Jayden wanted to know?
Helena flashed a grin as she skipped down the few remaining steps of the governor's building. "Good. Where has my most cherished companion been lately?
Jayden responded, "I'm here at the museum."
"Is that the museum?" Are you lost?" Teased by Helena
Jayden hadn't exactly been the studious type; he'd earned his reputation as the playboy prince of the internet realm. Playing sports, games, and having sexual encounters with women are the only things that truly excite him.
"Ha ha," he murmured, but Helena could make out a grin in his voice even though he was laughing. "Just so you know, I'm now working on expanding my knowledge of the material that's being displayed in this room. Also, I have a project due on some aspect of history that I am not very interested in.
"Impressive!" remarked Helena. "Would you mind if I came along for the ride?"
"Always," said Jayden. "You are aware that it is risky to be out in this world presently. You are aware that I take pleasure in being close to you at all times just in case.
Helena made a face. "I can defend myself Jayden I am not weak. In addition to that, I'm going to be leaving work soon, so I won't be in danger."
Work, you really ought to be there. Jayden responded by saying, "Jordan informed me that your employer sent you out for something urgent."
She related the events of her morning, including the perplexing interaction she had at the Governors Building, to Jayden as she headed to the museum.
After Helena had finished, he remarked, "That is the Governor." He has Walmart made any critical comments about the mayor in the recent past. We are aware that Walmart is actively involved in the communities in which their stores are located.
"Not to the best of my knowledge." After handing the museum attendant her payment, Helena entered the first hall on her own. She inquired after Jayden by asking, "Where are you?"
"Beginning with the Greeks of antiquity. They believed that their gods would take on human form in order to better comprehend the way of life chosen by their people. Jayden was spotted by Helena looking up at a statue of Zeus.
Jayden laughed at Helena's joke, and as he turned around to look at her, his black eyes lit up with excitement. She leaned in for a short kiss on his cheek before presenting the calendar to him.
I brought you something as a gift. It's a calendar for the City Hall."
"Oh well, I guess that ruins the surprise." Jayden unfurled it. "'A Year's Worth of Civic Duties'" And construction of the digital library will continue this month. But at least I have you at my side to get through all of this with. He reached out and put his hand over his chest.
He looked at her with a grin and remarked, "Helena Cummings, you are the epitome of a romantic."
Helena's cheeks flushed and she laughed it off. "Hey, I'll be willing to wager that it's a gift that no girl has ever gotten you before."
While he was drawing her closer, he added, "It is."
She gave me a reassuring grin and said, "You don't have to keep it."
"Thank you." Jayden fumbled and lost the calendar right where he was standing.
Helena laughed. However, you are required to dispose of it in the trash.
"Right," he remarked as he threw it in a garbage can that was nearby.
Helena took a quick look at the Greek pottery and statues that were surrounding her. "How precisely is studying ancient history going to assist you with the task that you have been given?"
Oh, it's for a World History assignment, is that what you're asking? I have a horrible memory for anything that has to do with school.
He said, "Over in the Mayan Hall, I learnt that they believed the stars were Gods, but also used the stars to lead them." Helena, he said this to her.
Helena squeezed her lips together in concentration. "The Mayan Hall could be a good place for us to spend a little bit more time," you say.
BANG!
The sound of a gunshot reverberated across the Greek wing. Both Helena and Jayden reacted with a startled flinch.
The walls echoed with the sound of another gunshot, which was followed by a scream. Helena took a few steps back from Jayden. "I'm going to change into something that's a little more comfy."
He responded with a "Yep" while stretching his arms and cracking his neck.
It's time to make some changes and get back to kicking some ass. In addition, it had been at least a week since the last time he had punched someone through a wall. Therefore, he was really excited.
Jayden made a beeline for the cause of the mayhem as Helena sped away to become Soul Sakura. A security guard was found unconscious on the floor of a room located off the Greek wing of the building with his revolver still clenched in one hand.
Dark Ox spoke into Jayden's thoughts and said, "Boss, I'm ready to merge whenever you are," implying that he was ready to combine whenever Jayden was.
"Great, Jayden activated his Digital Fusion by tapping his watch, which was attached to his arm. In order to complete his change, data traveled from Jayden's arm all the way through the rest of his body. When Jayden opened his eyes, he was in a black armored suit that was very tight. It appeared as if he had been transformed into a black bull by the helmet, breast plate, arm plates, armored leggings, and boots he wore. The Helmet featured lengthy horns that emitted a glow when it was activated. His pupils were red, giving the impression that a dark savage beast was about to kill its prey. This impression was reinforced when he spoke.
Dark Ox congratulated his master on the successful completion of the fusion.
"Great, let's push these losers to the curb and show them who's boss. A whole year has passed since I first obtained your power. "Let's keep putting it through its paces," Jayden suggested with a grin.
A man and a woman dressed in street clothes were carelessly smashing display cases with wrenches. Neither of them seemed concerned.
"Now, now. Dark Ox replied while crossing his arms, "Those tools are not for breaking; they are for fixing."
It went by with a bang! Helena was there next to him. The two thieves at last put an end to their damage of the exhibit cases. Soul Sakura looked down her nose at the male thief. "You again! Are you going to ditch this other companion, as well?"
Dark Ox flicked his eyes from her to the man standing there. "Are you familiar with this wretch?"
"Yeah, he made an attempt to rob a bank this morning, but he fled when he noticed me," the witness said.
Soul Sakura gave the criminal a sneering grin, then leaned in close and spread her fingers apart.
"Boo."
The man, on the other hand, did not flee this time. Instead, the woman who was sitting next to him smiled, and he began to bulge outward. And ballooning. And ballooning.
Her chest, stomach, arms, legs, and feet swelled, and when his skin started to part, the air became filled with little, dark insects. Her chest, stomach, arms, legs, and feet also expanded.
A split second later, thousands of mosquitoes emerged from her body and began to bite people.
The young woman's eyes widened, and she took a few steps back. "All right, he didn't have her when we checked this morning. It would appear that his companion is proficient in digital summoning tactics.
"Blood Sucker. Hate the sound of the word," muttered Dark Ox, "and I despise both of them." However, it's not like they have the ability to harm us, right?
Soul Sakura stated while clenching her fist, "Something tells me these aren't ordinary misquotes if they were summoned." "If they were summoned."
The women gave a sharp snap with their fingers, and the swarm immediately encircled Soul Sakura and Dark Ox in a dome of misquotes.
The two people who were cornered moved closer to one another until they were standing back-to-back.
"Dark Ox?" Soul Sakura exerted some pressure on his hand. "If you're wearing armor, at the very least, they shouldn't be able to hurt you," the speaker said.
