Chapter 95

Soul Sakura was extremely grateful that Microsoft X had built her the X suit as she continued to fight their way through the Iset facility. It was obvious that these Iset agents had been relying on their Alienware reserves and data power dampeners as they weren't even that good fighters in comparison to the training the four of them had received up until they finally arrived at the computer hub.

Soul Sakura planted the hacker and announced, "We're in."

"Too many firewalls, ugh. Even if I were on site, it would still take me at least an hour to get into the system." Following Scotty's complaint, Soul Sakura had an idea.

What if you could trick the computer into thinking you were Iset? Sakura Soul enquired.

What are you saying? Target enquired.

"Scotty, you made a remote for me to use during the ship invasion to control Rowan; you could do it again." Sakura Soul stated.

"On it, I am. Since Emma managed to stabilize Aiden, I'll have her plan the bug on him and send him there." stated Scotty.

"Copy. Please warn Emma to use caution." Since her sister was the only person she could truly bear to lose, Soul Sakura made the statement.

Why would she begin right now? When Scotty questioned, Helena grinned after hearing a slapping noise.

"Emma, really?" Scotty lamented.

"You ought to have said that after she had already left." Though she concurred with Scotty regarding Emma, Soul Sakura said.

"I'm leaving Helena," you said. said Emma.

Emma, take care, warned Soul Sakura.

Emma said as she entered the portal, "I will."

Emma was shocked to discover Rowan had gone when she went back to the mountains. Even with his cybernetics, the amount of force Helena used in her strike on him would have been sufficient to knock him out.

Rowan, where are you? Emma inquired, only to turn around just in time to see Hank Rowan standing up again after dodging a laser vision blast.

"You trying to find me?" Rowan questioned his position.

"I must say that I'm impressed. I anticipated you would still be unconscious following the assault my sister dealt you." said Emma.

"Please, she's a creature that every piece of my hardware was made to handle. I don't see why you would call that parasite your sister." Emma gave Rowan an angry look as he spoke.

"Nobody insults my sister in that way and escapes with no repercussions. And you're fortunate that my sister needs you to be functional after what you've already caused my father. She never stated that you must be unharmed, though." Rowan effortlessly brushed off the shots as Emma drew out her revolver and began to shoot at him.

Do you honestly believe that I'll be harmed by bullets? Rowan enquired.

I reasoned that if we don't try, we won't know, and now we do. Rowan's enhancements appeared to be much harsher than they had been in the earlier papers written about him, Emma said.

"You have one chance, please. Let's go, and I'll be forgiving. In the event that this occurs, let's simply assume that your mother will be organizing a funeral." said Rowan.

You are aware of my response. said Emma.

"Yes, I just wanted to try showing mercy. I appreciate you providing me a reason to do this." Emma screamed in pain before going unconscious and truly beginning to bleed out as Rowan shot at her once more. This time, she was unable to duck in time as she felt the laser vision smash through her MRC gear and sent her flying back.

Three to go after one down. As Rowan turned around, he said, only to be hit by an invincible, super-fast fist that sent him flying.

"That was erroneous. My sister is never harmed." Rowan could see Soul Sakura's enraged face as she retracted her X suit and growled fiercely at him.

"Not your sister at all. You are nothing more than a parasitic parasite, and she is a traitor to our species." said Rowan.

And you are nothing more than a collection of circuits dressed as monsters. Rowan was hit in the head by Soul Sakura when she slammed her fist as hard as she could without killing him before dialing 911.

"You are now in control of this operation, Caleb. Get Rowan so you can use him." Over the coms, Soul Sakura said.

What is the issue? Caleb enquired.

"Emma is seriously hurt. I must return her to the Tower." Sakura Soul stated.

"Go. She is more significant. I'll handle this along with Dark Ox and Target. If you need anything, let me know." Soul Sakura could sense the rage in Caleb's voice as he spoke.

Just promise me that once Rowan is no longer helpful to you, you will do everything in your power to cause him as much pain as possible. Sakura Soul stated.

Oh, believe me, I will. said Caleb.

Scotty, open the portal right away. Sakura Soul stated.

"On it." Right as the portal opened and Helena carefully picked up her sister and hurried her through, Scotty exclaimed as she hurried over to her sister and quickly used her x-ray vision to see that Emma had multiple major wounds.

Rowan was thrown to the ground as Caleb entered the Iset facility's data center after leaving it.

Scotty, how are you? Given how devastated Helena was and how much more devastated she would be if Emma didn't make it, Dark Ox questioned Target.

"Her wounds are too severe for our tools to handle. She was taken to National City Hospital by Helena." stated Scotty.

What's up with Aiden? Caleb enquired.

He's getting better, Scotty said.

When we're done here, we'll stop by to see how they're doing. stated Target.

"Adapt that. Did you give Rowan the bug I made, Caleb?" Scotty enquired.

Yes, what should we do next? Caleb enquired.

"To make him access the database and grant me remote access, I simply need to plug him into the data core. You can rip off his arm after the hookup is finished if you want to." stated Scotty.

Please don't tempt me. Rowan's cybernetic port, which connected him to the mainframe, was known to contain Rowan, Caleb stated menacingly as he grasped the arm. After a short while, Scotty entered the communications.

"I'm in now, and the power dampeners are off. You guys ought to see something, though." stated Scotty.

"What?" Target questioned Scotty as he went to the cameras.

You all should have a peek at this, I found it while browsing through the prisoners' record. As he remotely accessed security footage of one of the cells, Scotty said. Target was particularly surprised to see who it was.

Are you Brainy? Target enquired.

It appears to be it, Caleb remarked.

What shall we do, Caleb? Dark Ox enquired.

"See if you can locate a means of conveyance, Dark Ox, to get these inmates out of here. Target and I will become overly cerebral. Once Dark Ox has located a means of transportation, Scotty uses the PA system to direct the prisoners to it. You take the Iset members to the MRC, where you will subsequently meet us." Dark Ox and Target appeared to be nodding as they left the security building to begin their respective missions, according to Caleb.
