Suddenly I wasn't in the tutorial village anymore.

It was night and I was at a zone.

The zone had tall buildings, there was a very big straight road people were roaming in it, there were a lot of stands, people could be heard everywhere making deals, negotiating and the 2 moons with the stars up in the sky combined with the lights of the city made it a very beautiful scenery.

This was one of the zones, Axus.

A very good lively zone where players buy, sell, trade. This zone is peaceful and my body link is 20%, even though peaceful one needed to be careful.

The other zones were Xion, Crimson, Onyx, Vivex, and Zelon.

The thing is these are the only zones/lands that us players have, 674,905 km2 and 70 million people all around the world play daily. The game has given us 1,200,000 km2 of land, the other remaining land that we still don't have control of are where the monsters live.

Even though the main enemies of the game are the monsters, the zones still go to war against each other from time to time.

The whole land of the game is a square half of that square is ours the other half is where the monsters are. Outside the square there is the pitch black void. If you for what ever reason fall into the void, you are considered dead. Players who have fallen into it, couldn't come back even if after they tried fly skills.

For whatever reason when the player falls into the void they don't die they just fall into an endless pitch black space.

Also players around the world are able to understand each other by the translation system.

"Come on man can't you go any cheaper, pleaseeee!"

"Thanks come again!"

"Bro I saw this exact sword somewhere else for cheaper, don't buy it."

While walking this is what I was hearing.

I saw a lot of different potions, swords, shields, artifacts etc.

Money.

That is my weakness right now. Seeing the prices of simple iron swords being at 100 Z-coins sent shivers down my spine. The potions were about 200 Z-coins for a normal health potion.

Well I guess I need to find a job.

The job options I have for now are :

1. Go to a guild and get quests. Yes the system gives you quests to complete and rewards but that doesn't include money. So guilds give the members a quest to complete. The quest is posted by a player. The quest that the player posted is one of the quests that the system gave. The quest can be anything. So players take the quests complete it, the reward goes to the player that posted the quest, but at the same time money transfers to the player who completes it. Its a win win.

2. Getting a normal job, working under someone like an IRL job.

I'm just going to go with the second option.

People here take their jobs seriously some being blacksmiths, some being trainers, some being traders and the one that pays the most being an adventurer. The Z-coins can be turned into IRL money. For example if I have 10000 Z-coins and want to transfer them in IRL money and the value of 1 Z-coin is 0.078 Pos that would mean that I would get 780 Pos.

That is why some people actually work here, and just imagine if for what ever reason they got killed, their life would literally crumble. For example if a merchant got killed in the game, even if they start a new account all from the beginning it would take a lot of time to getting a good reputation again so people buy from you.

Some just think this is a game and for some it's a job.

I saw a bookstore that was near me so I decided to just apply for a job right there.

Two small bells rung when I entered the store.

There was a middle aged man organizing some books. He had chocolate brown slick hair, a scar on his face, specifically it was on his right eye.

"Welcome."

"Hello sir I was wondering if you have any positions open for work?"

"Eh sorry, we don't need anyone. You must be new in the game, look if you log out the game and post in any forum that you are new, type that you are looking for a job and post some your stats too. There will be at least a few people contacting you to offer you a job."

I already knew that, but I was hoping I could just get right to it.

"Ok, thank you."

"It's nothing, if you need any book message me, my name is tonytonybabs but you can just call me Tony."

"Okay my name is seventy7, seven for short."

He took a note book with a pen and wrote my name down.

"Have a good day."

"Yea you too."

I tapped log out and was teleported to my VR border room.

"Vivy"

"Yes"

"Make a post in the forum of Zenodox Online, post that I need a job and also post my stats but exclude the 'title' stat. Notify me after half an hour"

After about 10 seconds.

"All done. I will notify you after 30 minutes."

Vivy just makes a lot of things easier. She also had a feature in the past for tutoring/teaching people but that was removed, because what would be the point of teachers existing if we had Vivy or any other bot, also because it wasn't very social and people need to socialize.

In my opinion that was a stupid reason to remove that feature.

"Vivy, log me in Zenodox Online"

I was teleported back into the game.

I decided to go at an EXP farm.

EXP farms were basically farms with fences around, in it were spawners of monsters. The cost to enter an EXP farm was cheap. Well that depends what kind of spawner it was, but still they were cheap.

They are also used for training too.

After walking straight in the main road where people were selling and buying all over the place, I then took a right and after walking and going from alley to alley, I arrived at a small field.

I then approached one of the fences that was filled with slimes. To enter I paid the fee which was 2 Z-coins.

There were slimes bouncing everywhere. They were blue and were like in the videos I watched very slow.

I then started to attack them.

slash*

I tried making a pattern with my sword, it was one I saw online. To be honest I my self thought I was very flashy, but I was just a noob right now so in the eyes of others I could be looking very dumb right now with my movements.

There wasn't anything to gain from killing monsters in an EXP farm, that is because they don't drop any loot, and every EXP farm isn't as effective as dungeons and quests were for increasing the ranking and level of a player.

I did that until...

beep beep*

It was vivys notification.

I logged out and got into my VR border room.

" Vivy, show me any new messages in the last 30 minutes. "

The screen popped showing the Zenodox forum with my post and I saw 12 new messages requests on the top left corner.

After reading all of them, my best options were :

A snack shop and my job would be stocking and unloading, my salary 800 Z-coins a month. When I worked was from 3 P.M until 8 P.M

My second option was another book shop. My job would be a employee, my salary 650 Z-coins a month. My shift was from 2 P.M to 6:45 P.M.

My final option was a gadget shop, I would be a employee and my salary would be 1100 Z-coins a month, but my shift in the other hand was from 1 P.M to 10 P.M.

After thinking for a while, I chose the book shop. I am not a book worm or anything like that, but my shift was very short compared to the other too, and I wouldn't be as tired as the two other jobs offered.

"Vivy, log me in Zenodox Online"

swoosh*

I opened my window and typed the cordinates of the bookstore in.

It was located in Crimson.

After finding a carriage for 20 Z-coins, I would be there approximately 2 to 3 hours.

The down side was the time I could get there for. I could buy a gadget for quick teleportation for 20 to 50 million Z-coins, but as one can guess that would be only a dream.

After a while, we finally exited the main road which was stretching seemingly without end. We now were at fields and from afar mountains could be seen surrounding the fields.

Removing my wooden shield and lying on the wooden carriage with nobody in it but me, even though you couldn't sleep in the game I tried to rest for a bit.
