All ingredients were now at the table within the room of Dante. He asked Kai to not let anyone in the room no matter what.
It was 11 at the Night. Near midtime. The time for people to sleep and for darkness to shroud the world in its embrace.
It was a time of bad occurrences and was thought to be ominous for any fortune-seeking.
Dante chose this time because of one reason only to perform a meridian repairing bath.
"Fuck the stupid concepts of imbeciles about the time of day and night. All time is okay to seek fortune. I am going to break the cycle of stupidity. This time is the optimum for seeking fortune."
People believed that at night the goddess of Darkness, Umbra controls fate and fortune.
Dante knew this was stupid and nothing like that was possible because Umbra wasn't a goddess at all. She was just a power borrowed from the world itself.
'Let's make a bath as per recipe.'
Dante used all ingredients and added them to the hot tub water. He wasn't good at alchemy or making potions.
He was just following a recipe.
'So I need to spend 6 hours in this water huh? Also, I need to eat this Grass to breathe in water after diving inside the tub completely.'
He was holding grass that was a light blue. His favorite color was also blue so he was obstinate about it.
"Pearl appears here will you."
-Sure, I will watch over you. If everything bad happens I will do my best to save you. Don't worry hehe.- pearl stated with a smile.
"Now I am really worried."
Dante had added all ingredients to the water and the tub water was now shining dark like really dark.
So now Dante needed to bathe for 6 hours straight. This process will be followed for 1 week at least. Then he will use his star core technique to start his journey to power.
Hence Dante entered the tub naked with no clothes at all in the bathroom.
He then ate the grass and gulped it. It tasted like shit.
He then dived into the water slowly.
Nothing was happening but he could breathe inside dark water. He was skeptical that maybe he did something wrong.

Dante was happy that at least the recipe wasn't a failure. He was now getting tensed about pain.

This was a nice notification. Dante was happy that the pain will not be as great as he thought.
Then he started feeling current passing through his body.
At first, he felt sore due to his meridians getting remade. Then they started hurting. 10 minutes passed and he was starting to feel pain similar to pinching on different points of his body.
The body has 22 meridians located in this world. In the Chinese novel world, there were more than 100 meridians. This world was different from those eastern concepts.
Eastern medicine was a failure in this world and all alchemy and energy explanation were completely different from this world.
It was because it was a different world with a different system of power. Humans and other races were different from already known information represented in those eastern novels.
Just think about it. How could humans from different worlds have body features similar to Earth? It was stupid thinking by eastern novel writers. Humans from earth were completely different from humans from the Wizard world like this and others out there in the universe.
'Damn it the technology and human biology are completely different from novel ones. They are not applicable here.'
Dante was in pain and started cursing eastern novel theories about body structure and meridian points.
The Aura in this world could kill those cultivation shits in a breath. The level of strength was far greater at each level.
The humans in this world had 22 meridians. 3 in the head, 4 in the torso, 3 in each arm, 3 in each leg, and the final 3 in locations determined by humans themselves.
It was true that the last 3 meridians can be built depending on what specialty you were pursuing. Most people use this process to change their already fixed meridian structure.
Alchemists used 3 meridians within hands and eyes to handle the potion with better precision.

Some Aura techniques were based on speed, capacity, Magic power, casting, accuracy, and physical strength.
Dante wasn't sure about further knowledge about Meridians because he wasn't going to create 3 meridians for any of these specialties. He was going to rotate specialties over all fields. Meaning he was going to be a jack of all trades.
These were things that were only important if the process of Meridian's rebirth succeeds. If he fails then he will always be mediocre at best.
'Even if it fails, my meridians will still be repaired and Grade 5 meridian quality would be within reach.'
He would be able to amplify the effect of this Rebirth through the star core technique.
The process went from slightly painful to full-blown painful. He could feel pain like a needle piercing his meridians. Again and again, the pain made him lose his mind and he wanted to rush out of the water.

He heard this notification and braced himself for further pain. The time went on and 3 hours passed and now the pain was stable and he became numb to it.
The pain was similar to getting a knife pierced through his torso, legs, and hands. His eyes started bleeding.
But he didn't give up. He was going to endure it.

He was pushed out of the water by Pearl in her manifested form.
Pearl could use her form to appear physically and even touch and push things. She had strength equal to Dante in his real body.
How could she manifest? Well, she is a soul part of a supreme being, so go and ask him please someone.

Dante was tired and passed out after his session in the water. It was 4 in the morning, so he could go and sleep for a long time now.
Dante slept for 5 hours and woke up to a knock on door. Cherry entered and she was shocked while looking at Dante. She started blushing as well.
"Dan, why are you sleeping naked? You will get a cold and be sick. Please wear clothes." Cherry picked Dante's clothes from the drawer and gave him.
Dante saw himself. He was naked and had a black goo substance on his body. And no it was not impurity or anything like that, but the discarded and damaged tissues of his meridians cast out by Rebirth Meridians paste.
Dante said to cherry that he needs a bath and hence he took a rinsing bath.
He looked at himself in mirror and could now feel good control over his body.
The collection of soreness from the last 2 days was gone.
"I was successful."
He was smiling while looking at himself in the mirror. The smile represented his happiness which was the start of his journey.
Dante decided to check his status.
