Composure

"You know, your composure is really something to be envious of."

"Is it really? It's more of a hassle in most situations."

"There's something about you, you know. It feels like you're on top of every situation, it's like there's nothing that can worry you."

"Still, I'd prefer to have more emotions, like a normal person."

"You'd be surprised how many people want the opposite."

"Grass is always greener on the other side of the hill. It hurts when people won't get close to you."

"Ah, well, your apathetic face is always soothing to look at."

"That sounded more like an insult than a compliment."

I still needed to meet back up with Mana. She was either waiting at the base camp or wandering around the area. I couldn't really just bring an s-rank esper into the middle of camp—the commotion that would follow wouldn't be worth the effort.

"So, Devil, what have you been doing since you were released?"
