Chapter 31 Bizarre Bazaar
The trio decided to continue their conversation while travelling towards their pit stop. They were not sure if Camilla will still pursue Valerie but they still want to get out of the Lavierre Kingdom as soon as possible. Even someone as strong as Camilla will not be given an exception if she cause a huge commotion at Zirracania. She might be strong but not strong enough to challenge the Protector of Zirracania.
"Do you think Camilla will follow you to Zirracania?" asked by Cleo.
"I'm not sure but at least she can't make a huge uproar if she don't want the Protector to deal with her." answered by Valerie.
"Protector?" asked by Cleo while tilting his head to the side.
"Its in the title itself he is the protector of Zirracania. The only person that was chosen by God in their region. His God's Gift is not in public record. Also he is not some ordinary God's Chosen, he alone stopped the three God's Chosen from Lavierre Kingdom." explained by Valerie
"There is no public record as well. People were not actually sure if they fought or just talk but after their meeting a retreat order was issued to the troops from both sides." Valerie added.
'How strong is his God's Gift to force a stalemate against three God's Chosen' thought by Cleo inwardly.
"Status" muttered by Cleo while turning his head away from Valerie. 'Show me the stage 2 of my God's Gift' he added inwardly.
[God's Gift: Fated Lover]
Stage 1: You and your fated lover gains +10 to all stats if you are within 100 meters with each other.
Stage 2: Replicate any Stage 2 God's Gift ability. (1 can only be active at a time) 3 hours Cooldown.
Stage 3: ???
'Replicate? I'm not sure how strong Stage 2 usually are to determine how strong mine is in the future' says by Cleo inwardly. "Leah, can you share me your status." whispered by Cleo to Leah.
[God's Gift: Death]
Stage 1: If you or your party member receive a fatal blow negate it once. Cooldown 3 days.
Stage 2: Give the user Reaper's Eyes that can see status of any person. (Will unlock an extra ability at 200 INT)
Stage 3: ???
'Can't really compare to her. She got a recon type instead of an offensive. Will this be the case to all Stage 2 God' Gift?' says by Cleo inwardly. "Replicate God's Gift: Death" muttered by Cleo still looking away at Valerie to make sure she can't hear anything.

After Cleo replicated Leah's ability he share the information about his Stage 2 ability to Leah. He then turn towards Valerie to look at her status.

'So this the extent of the Reaper's Eyes. I can't see their stats distribution either way an ability like this will come in handy in the future.' says by Cleo while looking at Valerie.
"W-what? Is there something on my face?" asked by Valerie while trying to wipe her face.
"Hey Valerie what level are you right now?" asked by Cleo ignoring the panicking woman.
"I'm Lv. 63 right now, why?" asked by Valerie.
"Nothing." says by Cleo. 'At least she's honest in that regard' Cleo added inwardly.
"Why did you ask? If there's anything I can do to help as long its within my capabilities I'll help" offered by Valerie. "Its a way to repay my debt to the both of you." she added.
Cleo thought of the offer for almost an hour before reaching the conclusion. He decided to let her assist them at hunting the Elite Monster they needed for their Job Quest in which Valerie easily agreed.
Three hours passed after a long road full of trees and dirt. They finally see a different scenery. Shabby stalls setup everywhere, people sitting at a blanket with their wares and people carrying bags of potions.
This is a familiar sight to the pair of red heads every time they get back to the town coming from their hunt. There is one thing different in here though. The merchants and patrons were not humans. Since this is almost at the Zirracania border most of the inhabitants here were Elves, Orcs and Dwarves.
"Just act natural and lets buy what we need. Avoid staring too much especially at the Orcs." instructed by Valerie to the pair of red heads.
Both of them broke their reverie at the same time and nods at Valerie. They decided to stockpile a lot of potions. They tried to find some armors but all of the wares available doesn't have a slot for fragments.
The trio then meetup where they started after two hours of shopping to prepare travelling at the outskirts. Valerie bought a makeshift guide on what monsters they can expect at the outskirts. The most common monsters in the outskirts are packs of Dire Wolves. Comparing it to the Minotaur it'll need 15 Dire Wolves to take down a single Minotaur. So they are not that worried even they encounter an Elite Dire Wolf.
"If we ever get separated just use this." says by Valerie while handing a ruby gem each to both Cleo and Leah. "Just infuse it with mana and crush it. It'll shoot a flare upwards." she added.
Cleo and Leah take one of each and the trio proceed to the outskirt's direction. Their plan is to avoid encounter as much as possible unless its an elite Dire Wolf. The priority is to enter Zirracania and find the friend of Valerie to seek shelter while waiting for the mess back in Lavierre Kingdom to died down on its own.
Zirracania Outskirts is not that dangerous especially at day. It mostly consist of small mountains that are next to each other. Some caves can also be found here however almost 90% of them are already been mapped and explored. After the outskirts, the inner area is more dangerous not because of the monsters but because of the bandits that chose to establish their base in that area. Once they crossed this two area they will arrived at the first city of Zirracania Alliance.
