Chapter 32 Cave
The trio arrive at the outskirts. A scent of lichen and moss invaded their nose. Aroma of different herbs and flowers mixes in the air as well. This is is a good place to build a vacation house if not for the Dire Wolves inhabiting most of the area.
"According to the map there's really nothing special about the outskirts just watch out for the Dire Wolves." explain by Valerie.
After half a day of travelling by foot the pair of red heads notice a familiar scent. Its the scent when they first met the Minotaur. They both nod at each other and to Valerie. The trio understood each other without uttering a single word.
They follow the rusty scent and it lead them to an average size cave. Valerie tried to check their exact location at the make shift map she bought from the adventurers. According to the map this cave is already explored and should be clear of any monsters.
"This cave should be cleared already unless there's bandits in here but why choose this place instead of the inner area." warned by Valerie.
The cave has a one way pathing that'll lead to the center of it. There some other crevices that can fit one person but they dismiss the idea of going through it. The scent is getting stronger the more they travel and they started to hear water droplets falling from stalactites to an unknown body of water.
Moments later they finally arrive at the center of the cave. A lake can be found surrounded by stalagmites and stalactites above it. In the center of the Lake there is a small patch of land that has an opened treasure chest.
Before they can fully investigate the lake, a silhouette creep from the dark side of the area. Once the light reveals the monster. They saw a blue giant wolf, the dire wolf from this world is not much different from their previous world. The only difference is its almost double in size and there is a blade from both of its front legs.

Once Cleo and Leah saw the elite monster they both tried to use the Reaper's Eyes but it failed it seems it only works against non-monsters.
"GRAAAAAAAAWRRR!!!" the blue dire wolf release a piercing roar and a few minutes later a pack of smaller dire wolves appears.
"Try to clear the smaller one first while I distract the elite monster!" commanded by Valerie. Since she has the most experience in dealing with elite monsters both Cleo and Leah yield the leadership to her in this encounter.
"Let's go Leah!" says by Cleo.
"Sword Wave!" shouted by the pair of red heads.
Valerie then use this opening to jump forward to the elite monster and used her Holy Sword to lure out the monster out of the pack. The blue dire wolf jump forward as well and shift its direction by using wind magic to try and slash Valerie with one of its blade.
Valerie anticipated the attack and used her shield to block the blade.
"Sword Dash!", "Shield Bash!" shouted by Valerie in quick succession making sure the blue dire wolf doesn't have a time to retaliate.
Cleo and Leah on the other hand make a quick work and eliminate all the smaller dire wolves. They were surprise on how quick they kill the monsters. After the made sure that there is no small dire wolves left they go to where Valerie and the elite monster is fighting.
"Valerie! Were finish here." shouted by Cleo. Valerie then stops her barrage of attacks and jump backwards to regroup with both Cleo and Leah.
"That's just too quick. Are you sure you kill all of them?" ask by Valerie with a doubtful tone. Even when they are at advantageous level, two Swordsman can't easily clear 10 Dire Wolves but her doubts disappears when she check the area.
'Who are you guys really?' sighed by Valerie inwardly.
"My darling is just that strong!" says by Valerie while puffing her chest out and both of her hands place on her waist.
"Good for me were on the same side then." says by Valerie.
The trio then focus their attention to the elite monster. They surrounds it with Valerie being in the front to tank the blue dire wolf while Cleo and Leah unleash a barrage of Sword Wave on each side.
The battle last for almost ten minutes. Once the first Sword Wave coming from Cleo successfully lands the battle is already over. Both Leah and Valerie capitalize with that opening use their Sword Wave respectively to finish the elite monster.

The trio release a sigh of relief once the notification popped out. They decided to split the rewards. The pair of red heads got the dual blades while Valerie got the fragment. Upon making sure the area is clear they decided to set their camp in this cave and rest for today.
"Status" muttered by Cleo and Leah.
