Chapter 105 Its a Trap
Ezekiel who was only wearing a typical religious looking robe earlier is now donning a crimson full plated armor.
'I can't believed that a mere monster forced me to use my Blood Pact.' Ezekiel said inwardly. 'Thankfully I have my God's Gift to offset the side effects for a few minutes.' he added inwardly while showing a smug face at the Illithid in front of him.
The Blood Pact with Nae Sanguinis provides the user a sentient armor that protects the user from any outside harm. It is one of the most powerful skill of a Flagellant. However the price of using it will cost the user to give up one of his senses permanently.
Fortunately for Ezekiel the stage 3 of his God's Gift gave him the skill Indomitable Will which can regenerate his physical or mental injury for 5 minutes. He have exactly 5 minutes to defeat the Illithid in front of him or risk to lose one of his senses.
Now that there's a sentient armor that's protecting him, Ezekiel can now focus all his attention and energy in attacking the monster.
He once again lunge forward at the Illithid whose after regaining its composure started firing the black bolts again but this time Ezekiel didn't even bother blocking it with his weapon.
Once it notice that the black bolts are useless against the armor of Ezekiel. Ull'yelel lunges its tentacle instead.

Multiple blades form around Ezekiel that severed the tentacles of Ull'yelel. The Illithid let out a deafening screech.
Ignoring the wailing Illithid, Ezekiel bash its head, crushing it in the process. The headless body of the Illithid starts to convulse at the ground.
However before Ezekiel can examine the body it exploded into numerous tiny pieces and a magic circle starts to appear where the pieces lands on.
'Wh-what's happening?" Ezekiel said inwardly. He quickly jumps backward just incase it's an offensive magic that only triggers upon dying.
After a few seconds the dozens of magic circle starts glowing one by one. The outer runes spins clockwise while the inner runes spins counter-clockwise.
Another seconds later Illithids starts emerging from each of the magic circle.
'H-how can a monster use advance teleportation magic?' Ezekiel said inwardly. 'I only have three minutes left on my God's Gift, I need to kill them all before the timer runs out.' he added inwardly.
Its easier said than done after all not only one or two, there's a dozen newly arrive Illithids he need to face alone at the same time.
Without wasting any more time Ezekiel rush towards the nearest Illithid that spawn from the magic circle however his momentum was stopped by an invisible force.
'Wh-what is this power? I can't move my body.' Ezekiel said inwardly.
His body hovers in the air and his armor starts transforming itself into different weapons not knowing what's the right thing to do about the invisible force.
"That idiot Ull'yelel, I ordered to summons us once the God's Chosen shows up." The Illithid that's raising its right hand towards Ezekiel said.
"Qrr'Askath what about those humans outside the perimeter, what do we do with them?" one of the Illithids asked.
"Help yourselves, the Elder Brain only want thr God's Chosen." Qrr'Askath answered.
The rest of the Illithids that was summoned by Ull'yelel's magic circle starts laughing hysterically before rushing towards at the direction of Ezekiel's guild mates.
"The Elder Brain will be happy feasting at your brain mortal." Qrr'Askath said.
The timer of Ezekiel's God's Gifts is nearing its end. In order for him to keep using his Blood Pact he needs to sacrifice one of his senses.
In his mind if he's having a hard time moving at the enemy's skill it will be much harder once he remove his sentient armor. Without hesitation, Ezekiel chose to sacrifice his sense of smell.
After a few minutes of struggling, the sentient armor finally adapted itself against the invisible force that's holding it.
The sentient armor lash out multiple crimson color chains towards the direction of Qrr'Askath.
The attack made Qrr'Askath moves thus breaking the grasp of the invisible force.
"Blood Strike!" Ezekiel lunges forward once he felt that the invisible force is no longer holding him back.
