"D-Devine…?!?" I whipped out the tutorial manual
———————————
Mission ranks are split up into 8 ranks based on how difficult they are to get!
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Epic
Legendary
Mythical
Heroic
But 4 other types of quests do not fit into the standard formula. Story-ranked and unique-ranked quests can have the same difficulty to find as any of the previously mentioned ranks but can only be done once by one person and or group before disappearing forever. The other rank of quests known as event quests is admin-issued quests that are usually for celebration or promotion. And finally are Devine quests, Devine quests are the rarest and just like unique and story quests they can only be done once but the main difference between these and the Devine quests is that they are issued by Ai rather than being something an admin had already set up
(Please note that rank does not determine how difficult the quest is, a Devine quest could be just as difficult as a common quest (although not likely) with the only difference being in the reward)

"Y-yeah it could just be an extremely rare quest! I-it's probably not difficult at all!… right…? Please?" I silently begged as I walked to the now less crowded starter quest npc
"H-hey I'm here to turn in a job," I said still shocked
"Thank you youngin… these muscles just ain't what they used to be, speaking of muscles heard that Gabe the blacksmith needed some. Why don't you go check in with him" the old man recommend

I put all of the points into agility as I had a long walk ahead of me
"My normal walk speed is 5km/ph and with my agility, I can do double that so I should get there in about… four and a half hours… oh boy! I can't wait to walk for four hours as everyone levels up!" I muttered sarcastically
"Better get started now" I left through the front gate
—————-in a certain brothel—————-
"Are you sure the girl will be able to do this sir?" the man in the blue suit asked his boss
"I'm sure of it" he lit a cigarette
"This sucks! If I wasn't bound to this place I could just go do whatever I want" he groaned while stretching
"No offence sir but it was your fault you got bound here" the man in the blue air piped up
"True… I'm just glad we found a loophole, all that's left is to give my sweetheart one last kiss before I go back… also I told you to call me by my name Lan" he took a puff of the cigarette
"My apologies, Cupid" Lan bowed
————a certain charismatic player————
"🎶 33 bottles of beer in the wall! 33 bottles of beer. Take one down, and pass it around. 32 bottles of beer on the wall🎶" I sang while waving around a stick I had been walking for around two hours but luckily a couple of kilometres back I got to hitch a ride effectively cutting an hour off of my walk
"🎶 32 bottles of beer in the wall! 32 bottles of beer. Take one down, and pass it around. 31 bottles of b-" I was interrupted by a loud thump a couple of meters to my left. Looking at the source of the noise I see a young boy most likely not older than twelve covered by a cloak laying weakly on the ground
"H…help…food! Water!" He muttered as he tried to crawl towards me before collapsing again
I walked up to the boy and forced a water skin I had crafted using the crafting tab and the rabbit pelts from earlier into his mouth. The boy ended up drinking the entire thing while eating some spare bread I gave him
"You good now kid?… huh? What's wrong?" The boy suddenly hid behind my back while whimpering as the bushes rustled
"They're here!" He said frantically in his weak voice
Out of the bushes came three men, two wielding slightly better quality bastard swords than mine and the one in the middle had a giant war hammer
"You should've just given us your blessing boy! None of this could've happened!" The man with the hammer shouted at the boy hiding behind me
"Blessing?" I looked at the boy
"I-I'm a w-wind spirit, they want my power! I'm still recovering, I-if you could just give me the time I can blow them all away just please!" The spirit pleaded

"That won't be necessary, they'll be dead by the time you've recharged your energy!" I stood up quickly and charged at the hammer guy
"Move it missy! We only wanted the boy it didn't have to come to this but it's your death!" He yelled whilst getting into a swinging position
"Wait! let me get out of the way fir-" the man swang his hammer horizontally which I ducked under causing it to slam into the face of the man beside him knocking him out instantly
"Shit! Stan!" The hammer guy looked toward his friend who was now lying on the ground
"Don't get distracted fucker!" I plunged the sword into the man's chest

"Thank you thank you thank you! I cannot thank you enough!" The boy ran up to me and hugged me
"I was just doing what was right," I said sheepishly
"Here! I want you to take this! It's a wind charm! It boosts the power wind magic by almost three times!… wait… I'm so dumb! You can't even use magic yet! Well I guess as a reward for assisting me I as a wind spirit bless you" the boy put the necklace on me before he slowly floated upwards as a strong breeze hit my body
-you have gained a spirit's blessing!-
The spirit then flew into the forest
-bestiary updated-
(A/N: you can just skip to the next chapter if you want but you might be confused later on in the story as I'm just gonna give explanations)
——————————————-
To use magic one must be blessed by a spirit, the stronger the connection with the spirit at the time of blessing the stronger the magic. There are 10 types of spirits
Fire
Wind
Earth
Water
Light
Dark
Blood
Plant
Sound
Metal
From these 10 an almost unlimited amount of subcategories sprout that are called fairies. A blessing from a fairy is weaker than a blessing from a spirit but as you become more aquatinted with your fairy the stronger your magic becomes unlike spirits which its strength is just what they think of you at the time of blessing

—————————————
Hidden stats are stats that don't go up through levelling up but instead through achievements, certain quests, events and equipment
—————————————
—————————————
Human enemies are enemies that belong to the human race, humans have a 100% chance to drop 1 piece of equipment and their weapon, this is why player killing can be very common. Humanoids (including things like elves, beastmen and other demihumans) are the only type of enemy that naturally drops currency

Magic doesn't rely on "mana" like other fantasy stories but instead runs off of focus, the higher the intelligence the higher the focus. This is why potions for mages are popular among students as they increase focus. Perception can also help with things such as casting speed and manipulation
