The man was tossed a key by Obrien, and he squatted down by Felicity's arm to fiddle the tiny key into the keyhole. The moment the metal went lax around her arm, Felicity shot up on the bed, only to be hauled up into the air, but Felicity didn't give up without a fight.
She pulled at his arms and kicked her legs away, trying to use the wall as a source of her strength. The man infuriatingly shoved her against her prison walls and brought her hands behind her back.
Her face was shoved into the cinderblock roughly, and she could tell that it was going to bruise. She struggled, gasping out in pain when the man twisted her arm further in an unnatural way.
"Stop!" Obrien shouted. "We don't have time!"
Obrien played around with his earpiece in an irritated manner before ripping it out and tossing it behind him. The man lifted Felicity up further, making her feet dangle, and Felicity bit down on her lips.
"You better behave," the man muttered.
Felicity mutely nodded her head when she knew that she wasn't going to be able to get away from his grasp. Then again, her probability of getting past the door when there were four geared men staring at her wasn't in her favor.
They systematically shuffled out with Felicity in tow while she was dragged forward with the man's harsh hands holding down her arms. Another was stationed behind her while the other two were walking ahead with Obrien at a fast pace and disappeared around the corner.
Blowing out exhausted breaths, she struggled to plant her feet on the ground to walk herself, but the man tightened his fingers, bruising her skin, and making her cry out.
Felicity suddenly bit down on his arm in retaliation, her teeth lodged into the flesh of his thick arm from muscle, deep enough to draw blood. The metallic tang flooded her mouth, and he shoved her to the ground while Felicity spitted out the blood onto the ground, wiping her lips with the back of her hand.
From the corner of her eye, she was lucky she was placed with a person who was somewhat not as terrible as Obrien or serious about his job, judging by the way the other one only merely looked down at her and tapped his fingers impatiently on his arm.
There was no time to waste in the window of escape that she was able to buy for herself. Felicity pushed herself up with her hands, launching her forward as she sprinted a few feet to the left, stepping high on the wall to get momentum to kick off, and she suddenly was airborne.
Felicity didn't bother to scream as she charged, instead felt the satisfaction deep in her bones when she kneed one of them in the face. The man stumbled back while the other one ran towards her with his baton, and she slammed her foot in between their legs.
He buckled enough to give her some leeway to pivot on her heel and smack him on the side of the head with her foot. The man crumpled down while the other was looking for more attention.
Felicity ripped the baton out of the unconscious man's hand and slammed the baton in the charging person's face. He went down, and Felicity wiped the sweat that was pouring off her before she tried to gather her frazzled brain.
Her hands were shaking as she quickly patted down both men, knowing it wouldn't take long before they were back up. She grabbed the Dreyse rifle, shaking and inspecting the weapon, before also clipping the taser to her pants but leaving the gun.
She needed to hurry to take out Obrien and the other men before they caught on that she wasn't with them. She ran to the corner of the hallway, carefully peaking over the side, realizing that the hallway was quite long, and she should be able to catch up to them in no time if she was quiet with her steps.
Felicity knew that they weren't going to fire any bullets at her since they clearly needed her alive, so she was going to take her chances to go all in. She sprinted forward and lifted the Dreyse rifle up and aimed straight ahead at the main target.
Playing with the trigger, she switched her central gaze to the right and pulled the trigger. The needle flew straight and strong, puncturing the man's back, so small, it was practically unnoticeable.
Felicity abruptly pulled the trigger again to Obrien's other side, hoping that the two men would fall over at the same time. The first man fell over ten seconds when the anesthesia started working while the second fell just a hair later.
The needles must carry more of the drug than what was considered safe considering how fast it worked.
Obrien turned back with fury on his face when he finally caught what was going on only a little too late. He had a small black object in his hand, a walkie-talkie, and he lifted it to his lips.
"Back up is here."
Felicity's eyes widened when she realized that there were three men that poured out behind her, and she screamed when she realized that he had a large dagger in his hand.
Maybe leaving her unscratched was off the plan now. The first person came at her with a baton which she was easily able to escape only to encounter another who was much more dangerous.
Felicity dogged the man's fierce attack with the sharp blade, her heart in her throat, as she ducked underneath his arm and bent backward once more when he came back for another swipe through the air. Felicity lost her balance, falling down to the ground but immediately got back up to maneuver herself between people's legs.
A harsh hand yanked her hair, and her head came snapping back. Felicity screamed in pain, and the man brought his knife down from the corner of her eye. She kicked at his knees, and his weight came slamming down on her hair.
Felicity barrel-rolled away and saw a lot of black hair strands fall. Pivoting, she saw another person at her right blocking her path. He had a Taser and didn't hesitate to use it.
He ran full force at her, the electricity clicking venomously, and it came down on her arm, but she was fast enough to dodge most of the damage. But the pain rendered her immobile for a second, as she clutched her arm, not wanting to let go of her rifle.
Her hand was shaking too much to shoot at the aggressor, but she had to. Felicity focused on the man with the dagger and shot him before whipping around and shooting the man with the baton in the neck.
She aimed straight at the last one and blew out a breath as she clicked. And clicked again.
Felicity screamed when she realized that she was out, and it became a scene from a horror movie when the other man smiled at her sinisterly and charged at her.
She had nowhere to go since he was already right there, but she slipped under his arm when he was just about to make contact before crashing into the wall and busting it open to the other side.
