#Chapter25
That awkward moment.
Ian insisted on having dinner with me. I wasn't so sure about that, considering our feelings towards each other, but a part of me knew that Ian wanted that connection now. His parents were a dark part of his life.
Ian never had a real family. My family was his real family, and I was too. I knew that if I hadn't moved, we would still be together, we would probably be married by now.

/"We can order pizza,/" Ian suggested and I shook my head.
/"Nope. I had pizza for lunch./"
Ian looked surprised. /"Didn't Sean take you out?/"
/"Yeah. We went for pizza./"
/"Nice first date,/" Ian smirked.
I rolled my eyes. /"At least he didn't slash my car tires./"
Ian instantly grinned, but defended himself. /"Shut up. I didn't know how else to get you to notice me!/"
