#Chapter26
The Talk.
My breath knocked out of me, as I stared at Ian. I knew he meant me. Was he really that serious about me? And he knee as well as I did that maybe I wouldn't be his.
Parker and Marley was just as stunned, as Ian continued eating like he didn't just drop a major bombshell on us.
/"Who is this girl?/" Parker finally asked.
Ian's eyes flickered to mine. I was afraid he'd say something about us. But at the same I wanted Parker to know. I knew I couldn't hide this from him forever. After all, if there were chances that I would end up with Ian, Parker would have to know the truth.
/"My high school sweetheart,/" Ian said.
/"I know,/" Parker rolled his eyes. /"Who is she? Does she have a name?/"
/"That's not--/"
/"Yeah,/" I interrupted Ian, making him snap his head and look at me in pure disbelief. /"It's me./"
Parker rolled his eyes. /"Ha ha. Now tell me who it really is./"
