Morning.

Tatiana woke up to see her son gone from her side the next day. She got up and walked out calling his name.

"Morning young mistress" the maid greeted.

"Morning have you seen my son," she asked.

"The young master is having breakfast with others," she said.

"Thank you" she frowned going back to her room. She washed her face fixed her hair and grabbed her car keys and phone.

She walked to the group having breakfast as they smiled at giggling Gabriel.

"Morning," she said.

Jack's parents turned to see her, "Morning sweetie, come join us, our grandson is just adorable, "his mother said.

She smiled and walked to Gabriel who got up to hug his mother.

"Mommy, grandpa and grandma," he said.

The two laughed hearing him call them, and then he turned to his smiling father, "Papa" he said.

Jack smiled.

"That's good son, but we have to leave now cause Daddy Steve is waiting for us at home," she said carrying him.

"Oh, but you can have breakfast first," Jack's father said.

"Thank you, father but we have to go now, but I will bring Gabriel over to see you next time," she said moving away, "thank you for letting us stay over".

Jack had watched her walk away emotionlessly, he got up having lost his appetite.

"Our son looks so son, he is a loser this time and I feel bad for him," said his mother.

"Let him, it's his fault after all" his father drank his tea.

"But our grandchild is so adorable and smart," she said.

"Yes he is, I can die peacefully now. He might have done a lot of bad things but our grandchild is the only good thing among them. I finally have a worthy successor" he said.

His wife slapped his hand, "You old weasel, after almost destroying the company what would you have left him if it wasn't for his mother to intervene" she said.

"How long will I apologize for that, I did wrong and am sorry" he held her hand kissing it." please forgive you, old sweetheart "

She smiled, "Still with your old tricks"

"They are old but still work on you" he laughed.

She got home and after Gabriel was fed and taken to school by her driver, she turned to Steve and hugged him.

"Did something happen?" he asked.

"I don't know what to do, is what am doing right or am just making my old wounds hurt". She cried.

"You have to first put your mind at ease, Ana. Then you can think clearly about all this" he said.

After she calmed down, she told him what happened.

"If you want to back out and go back with me, I can arrange it," he said.

"No, I think I need to do this if I want to move on from all the painful past," she said.
